The third round of the Hall of Fame is now closed with both Cinderella Man and Senna joining the quarter finalists.

Remember that Rounds 4 and 5 are still open to vote in (Round 3 closes on Friday)

This round brings together Boxing, Horse Racing, Baseball and American Football.

Remember, you can vote for your favourite two.and the top 2 go through to the quarters. If you want to offer up a review of the film you are picking, I will be more than happy to include it here (and future rounds should it qualify).

Slim pickings in this round. Voted for Bull Durham as it is enjoyable enough and like Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins as actors. Seabiscuit I have not seen, cannot risk the longest yard until the Sandler issue is resolved and The Hurricane was a bit too preachy and self righteous to me. Also Carter's story is remarkable enough, it did not need them playing so fast and loose with the boxing details as the film did, particularly in its handling of the Guardiello title fight which was completely unnecessary. Appreciate this is a relatively minor thing but is common in loads of sports films and gets annoying after a while.

Sea Biscuit is a fine feel good film.

Bull Durham gets my second vote.
