ECIII appreciation thread Empty ECIII appreciation thread

Does anyone else feel TNA have actually created a really great character in ECIII? The more I watch him and his promos, the more I`ve grown to love his character. He is a great heel in the sense that he is arrogant, and plays his part so well you really can believe he is as stupid as he comes across sometimes. I`ve found him to be really funny and enjoy his backstage and onscreen promos. He has such an exaggerated view of himself and his own importance, but rather than being completely obnoxious it`s kind of endearing. I like the type of heel he is playing right now and it also feels fresh. Roode and Bully Ray are completely different types of heels, and both play their roles perfectly. But it`s nice to see for a change more of an airhead, rich boy character who`s privileged and so therefore has a warped view of reality, who`s not quite in touch with the real world. clap OK

Totally agree.

I always liked him as Derrick Bateman too.

Good physique, good on the mic, great entrance theme and good wrestling skills.

He reminds me a little of Edge from his E&C days - the knowing cockiness with a underlying sense of humour

Have to admit I'm starting to warm to him.

Absolutely hated the stupid (and IMO pointless) squash matches he started off with, but since he's got properly involved, helping Magnus to his title win, his character has developed quite nicely.
