all through the 80's and 90s Cruiserweight champions have been used as canonfodder for aspiring heavyweights............Cole, Ratcliff, Qawi, Tillman, Mccrory, Parkey.. all there to do what they are supposed to get flattened off someone decent.....Usually the decent guy has a half ashamed look like Foreman or Tyson after creaming the little boy.......

Dear oh dear last night we had a shameless tub of lard being decked and made to look an amateur by an old ex cruiser.....and after he won Fury jumped about like he beat King Kong!!!..shameless..

Fury was poor lastnight, did well to get back up but still has alot to learn. Mr woodhall on the other hand musta been smoking some high grade to be scoring the fight like that.

HBO are the pits. But Woodhall is not far behind.

Good grief. Did he brawl against kingpin? Did he fight leftie against anyone other than Rogan? What makes you think he will fight like that against someone his size. He will be more careful as he has shown in the past.

When the going got hairy he used his physical advantage.

He let the emotion and hype get to him, very likely the same thing happens the next time he has a big fight.

Az I get the feeling you'd defend Fury if he urinated in the middle of the ring.

Read my posts. I said he was too hyped up. Now he has that experience it should put him in good stead for the future. Have you seen him fight the best way for two consecutive fights? Ihhaven't.

Had the other fool climbed off the floor and won in the same manner he would be proclaimed the next big thing. Thankfully he got stopped.

Nobody on here would have called Cunningham the next best thing and you know it. It may well have been a blip for Fury but I have a feeling the next big fight will we see the same thing, Fury too emotionally charged made to look silly. Maybe they shouldn't show a Rocky movie before his fight next time?

Of course he was charged. All down to experience. Probably done him more good than a quick blow out.

Nothing to do with Price at all, this is all about Fury.

It shows the level of bias against fury. Much of it from some quarters being bigoted.

Bottom line is fury fought the wrong fight probably due to inexperience and eagerness to impress. He won and ended it in brutal fashion.

I fail to see how anybody is being biased against Fury. People are calling it as they see it Az, you're trying to make out as if it was something special that Cunningham gassed.

I haven't mentioned race. I said bigored. Fury is if traveller stock. Words like "pikey" have been used against him on here. Some fool called him a tarmacer. The hate he gets is uncalled for. It is because he us brash and a traveller. His like are supposed to be grateful.

Absolute garbage, you stick up for him for the sole purpose that you can throw around the race card (Irish travellers are technically a race), so anyone who is critical of Mayweather must do so for the same reason then.

He gets criticism because he's just not that good, it has nothing to do with him being a traveller.

The problem these days is that commentators chuck stupid words about like great and hyberbole everything to a crazy level.....

However you look at it... a soon to be 37 year old ex-cruiser with a prefight 25-5 record giving you big trouble isn't a good night...........

Cunningham was exhausted by round 6 and ended up standing in front of Fury eventually getting knocked out. I've got nothing against Fury, his improvements since moving to his uncles gym have been fantastic but last night he looked awful, amateurish at times. Not sure how you really deny this. Pulev will give him fits because he can punch back, imagine what Wilder would do if he landed.

I don't give a damn about the commentators. That was a good win for fury in many ways. A blowout would be pointless. A hard struggle will do him good in the long term. At least it willmake him calmer and to hold his hands up.

Puvel could win because he is probably the better fighter. Not sure about Wilder who has fought the sum total of sweet FA in his career.

Shows he has a plan B though!

The one thing that really annoys me is that I really like Tyson and love watching him fight (for mostly the wrong reasons but hey ho) however, the fact that Az and Davidemore blindly praise him is turning me into a hater!

I call it the D4 effect.
