Anyone going to watch this ? It looks good from the trailers i have seen .
The premise of the show is
About a FBI agent who finds himself in the middle of a network of serial killers, Joe Carroll a former college professor who taught the works of Poe and killed young women in the gothic hero's honor—until he got caught. Since then he's been spending hours on a computer in the prison library, building a social network of copycat killers who hang on his every command. When the series begins, he's just escaped from death row with help from those followers, and the FBI calls in former agent Ryan Hardy who brought down Joe the first time—to consult on the case and try and stop anymore killings . Kevin Bacon is FBI agent Hardy and James Purefoy is the serial killer Carroll .

If, if they make series three, I think it will be about Emma, unless she dies.

Re: The Following
Still going strong the series, Joe's infiltrated the new colt, fully expect him to kill off Mika or whatever his name is & take control. Like the fact there is two dynamic's, Bacon going after Joe & Weston after Lily. Also, fully expecting Max to get with Weston.

If the real FBI is like this in real life, then we're all doomed.

As my wife said, if the FBI from Criminal Minds were involved this would have been a mini series.

Maybe it's me, just think it was a bit samey that first episode. See how it unfolds, kind of bored of the twin story actually, needs Joe back ASAP

Re: The Following
Think its been ok so far.
Not warming to Mark at all this series(Luke would have been better to keep alive).
The couple with him are good characters.
Joe needs to make an appearance soon.

Re: The Following
just got onto the fire house killings, been a decent series so far, interesting to see where this Strauss thing goes. Not sure I could watch another series though, too samey & without Carroll, it's lost it's magic.

Re: The Following
Tv Line but just type it into google and half a dozen sites should have the news by now. Most of the networks have announced what they have cancelled and renewed for next season over the past two days. Between May 7th-14th is when the major 5 networks must confirm cancellations/renewals by, obviously some shows are done before this but if you are interested in what's happening with your US tv show this is the date you'll know by.

Re: The Following
Wtf?
Seriously I'm on episode 9 & this series has been very, very good. It can't be a reflection of the series, surely just the show's timing & story coming to a natural end?

Re: The Following
Nah ratings had been terrible in season 2 and it just scraped a renewal, this season they have been abysmal. Rarely does a show ever have a natural end its 99% of the time due to to poor ratings or being to expensive to continue.

Re: The Following
Think this saturday is a double header to end the season.
Season 2 was poor for me, the whole cult business was terrible i thought.
This season has been good in parts, better than the second, not as good as the first.
Saturday nights was a good episode.

Re: The Following
Yeah, I'd say three series is about enough but this latest series has been very good. Season two was awful, the twins went on for too long. this new character though has been an improvement but I can see why they've decided to call it a day.
Oh well Westi, not long until strikeback.

Only just got around to watching this finale. Decent end, although Bacon clearly wanted another season to go hunting down that group. Great first season, shambolic second season & a good final series is how I'd sum it up. I'll miss Joe, cracking character.

Re: The Following
Yeah, Joe was one of the best characters on tv for me.
Wouldn't have minded seeing a 4th season.
Bacon is a quality actor.
Played his part perfectly.
