Tactics
We will play a structured game built around our massive ball carriers, the strength of our set piece and getting our lightning backline into space.
- Attack the scrum as a weapon - and call when we can. Look to really get the shove on.
- Use Wilkinson's boot to attack our strong lineout with Mafi, Joubert, Pape and Deacon all massive jumpers. We will relentlessly target the opposition's throws.
- Massive line-breakers right throughout the side that will look to tire down the opposition defence. We will use our big carriers consistently to tire down the opposition.
The likes of Afoa, Mafi, Armitage, Beast, Pape, Joubert and Naqelevuki used off the shoulder crashing through the opposition defence.
- Armitage is the man charged with reaching the breakdown first and look to turnover possession. We will always look to attack quickly off turnover ball.
- Box kicks from Peel and up and unders from Wilkinson to give the opposition problems in the air.
Lightning back line to really get the chase on.
- Look to play attacking rugby in the backs, getting the likes of Kahui, Jane and Nacewa on the ball when we can.
- Our back three are encouraged to do what they do best - counter attacking and running the ball back. If isolated all have good kicking games, but the counter is what we ask them to look for.
- Wilkinson to kick all penalites.
Northampton Saints

Tactics
We will look to play a fast paced attacking game using big carriers running of the 9/10/12 axis to get us over the gain line and generate quick ball. Keeping the ball alive is crucial so our carriers will be looking for support runners to hit on the offload and get us further over the gain line. Our back three will look to get involved as much as possible running support lines of the halfbacks and midfield looking for the inside ball or offload. If for whatever reason we aren’t getting quick ball, we will look to take control of territory with the boot of Sexton and force Exeter to come at us from deep.

Tactics:
Our forwards will look to dominate the set piece and cause havoc at the breakdown. Our backs will be given quick ball to look to run through and round their opposite numbers. Yachvilli, will give quick ball to Burns who will look to use our 2 crash ball merchant's at centre to hit hard and look for the offload or to clear the rucks quickly to release our dangerous back three. This is the strongest defensive backline we have fielded yet and will look to use this to our advantage with big hits and a backrow over the ball. Burns will keep the scoreboard ticking over.
Forwards
*Experienced front row who will look to dominate the set piece and Jones will be the anchor, we will go up on Jones' side and won't go backwards....we go up, forward and down but not backwards.
*2nd rows are two strong players who will look to control the lineout and to put pressure on their back 5 in the scrum with confrontational play.
*Backrow are heavy hitters Savage both terrorising here and JVN providing brute strength off the back of the scrum and off the backs, again the bench provides more experience with Narraway. Cane will look to disrupt ball and carry a lot.
Backs
* Yachvilli to snipe when space but to release Burns when possible, he will go for goal when in range, Burns is in great form and will look to make his unpredictability show,
* Roberts and Tindall to hit hard and will have a winger on his shoulder at all times and also look for JVN to break through the defence,
* Exciting backs here who will link well and look to constantly run at and through the defence,
* A fast back 3 here who will always look for work and are strong in defence and under the high ball and a very strong bench who will all be utilised.
Defence
*Tindall to lead this,
*Cane/JVN to be on 10’s shoulder looking to wrap the ball up,
*Contest at the breakdown and all set piece.

Tactics
- Use the set piece as a platform to attack from. In the scrum, get the ball in and out quickly to Quade. If it's messy, let Guest pick it and get over the gain line.
- In the lineout, we have plenty of options. Opt for shorter lines and use the remaining forward runners in the back line. Compete for their ball.
- Target the breakdown for possible turnovers, with Pocock staying strong on his feet. When they arise, lets use them to our advantage. Quick pick and gos to get over the gain line. If there are mis-matches, lets have a go.
- Be disciplined at the breakdown, with a guard and bodyguard at every breakdown to stop those easy yards around the fringes. No excuses here.
- Simpson to keep the tempo high, getting the ball quickly away from the breakdown and to Quade to release the backs. The back three to be hungry and look to get involved.
- Big forward runners look to get involved, targeting their fly half and back rowers, tying them in and creating space out wide.
- Look for when their back three are out of position and target this. Look to isolate them in defence and create 2 on 1's in attack.
- For slow ball, look to get outside their guards and bodyguards to suck in more and more forwards at each breakdown. This will give more time to the backs.
- Bench is full of impact players to keep the intensity high and have a run at the Gloucester's tired legs.

We look to impose ourselves from the off and let the opposition know how we are going to play the game and how we want to dictate the pace of the game. Our brand of rugby is physical and fast, however we won't just run the ball at every opportunity. We will only play in the right areas of the paddock, and Evans knows when to attack and when we need to clear the lines. We will look to go through simple phases to reproduce quick ball to cut the defence open. We have brilliant leaders all other the pitch in Borthwick, Pienaar, Easter and Evans, and they know what will be required to get we want from the game - a win. With the terrible conditions, they also know how we will want to play our game. We will look to force Quins to play from in their 22 and use our strong lineout and kicking game to pressure them. After good form in Europe, we will continue to build on our great position in the league.

Big pack to get ontop the Welsh front 5 and put them under the cosh at the Scrum and rucks with plenty of impact from the bench.
Scrummage for 80 minutes with strong scrummagers on the bench to come on if need
Steyn to test Welsh backs 3s position game with Kicks in behind with North and Short chasing with neither being on the small side.
Fofana/AAC to take the ball to the gain line and ask questions of the Welsh back line with North/Short/Payne coming into the line to cause problems
Croft to run our lineout whilst Denton and Coatzee will look to smash rucks to slow down and Welsh ball.
Jumpers from 4-8 in our pack giving Joe Grey plenty of targets with Etzebeth and Corft targeting the Welsh Lineout.
Wrigglesworth to control the tempo , feeding Morne Steyn the ball at the right times and using his own vision to snipe and put the ball in behind Welsh.
Blitz Defence to stop Welsh backs playing with Wrigglesworth sweeping behind
Impact from the bench will see this game through Smit will keep things calm up front , Robshaw will come on and smash everything in front of him. . Burguss and Heathcote are a exciting half back pair and will put plenty of pace onto the game.

Tactics- a bit drier this week, so we'll do a little more running after a hard earned win against Saints. The backrow to approach the breakdown as a unit with McCaw (backed up by Ryan) fighting for the ball on the floor, Vunipola clearing out and Kruis switching between the 2. Only try and turn over vulnerable ball by adding numbers to the ruck- otherwise set the defence. The rest of the pack to chip in. Parra to decide when to carry, when to kick and when to spin. We will spin quick ball. If the blitz cuts off our options use the forwards coming off Parra and chips from 9 and 10. Get Hodgson to move the ball on quickly- either inside to Brits or Billy to smash Cruden, to Allen to get it wide to exploit space made out there by the blitz or to Goode joining the line to switch the attack blindside. Let's not be afraid to carry with the pack either. The Sale locks are big but not the best jumpers so let's kick for territory from our own half and put pressure on the lineout and on their attack with a blitz in their 22 to force errors.
Defence- blitz led by Smith. McCaw to harry Cruden and Kruis Thomas if we have the advantage at linespeed from the ruck and McCaw to help Hodgson if Sale do.
Scrum- we won't realistically shove their front 3 back but we can hold them and rotate the scrum, I'm happy to take our chance at the penalty lottery with our 2 worldclass goalkickers vs more questionable kickers
lineout- vary the jumper as Kruis is an excellent jumper, Botha is the best front jumper in the history if rugby union and they are aided by McCaw and Kohn. We will sometimes use one of the Vunipolas as a dummy half to take the ball down the blindside where Brits and the winger will execute a move.
General- move the ball around in the backs- Smith, McCaw etc are great at supporting halfbreaks as soon as there is a gap. They have a big pack but a light backrow so try to target the pack off te fringes of rucks. If the lineout struggles, bring on Ryan, Brown covers the whole backrow.

Cruden to take all points on offer.
Play with a blitz defence attempting to put Hodgson under pressure.
Look to get our big ball carriers down Hodgson's channel. We feel the minimum we will get from this is momentum over the gain line, if not clean breaks.
JDv2 to look to offload to JJ.
Addison to look for work, especially with experience at 13 he will not feel physically intimidated.
Miller, Addison and Shephard to use there running game as a counter attacking threat.
Gaskell and JMF Lobbe will look to target there lineout, where with neither Kohn or Botha being top lineout jumpers, we feel we can get an advantage.

TACTICS
General
- We want to make sure that we play rugby in the opposition half and force handling errors, where we can attack the scrum. Use the physicality of our pack to our advantage, keeping the ball tight in the middle section of the pitch to retain possession and build a platform to attack from. In our third clear to touch and challenge for the ball at lineout.
- In poor conditions, the kicking game is crucial. We've got Daly, Steyn and Hook to win the tactical game, with long clearances. In Biggs, we've got two wingers that will chase up and unders and cross field kicks
- Steyn to ensure we play sensible rugby in the right areas, kicking long for touch in our 22, using the up and under in the centre of the pitch and delicate grubbers in behind centres to chase and force kickable penalties.
- Steyn leads the rush defence, with SOB flying up to cramp 10 for time and space and ensuring he takes the ball deep behind the gainline and starving their outside backs of ball. Classens sweeps up behind for counter attacks
- Big impact bench, with the likes of Tolofua, Catt, Fearns, Caldwell providing ball carrying options up front. Biggs, Daly and Fearns will wreak havoc in the last 20 minutes, as the space opens up. Real advantage over the opposition in terms of bench options
Forwards
* Two world class and very, young and fit scrummaging props picked, who should dominate at the scrum and force penalties. Mears back in the side for his solidity in the lineout
* In Louw, we have a world class in form flanker to compete at the breakdown. He looks to stay on his feet and slow opposition ball, stealing the turnovers
* Louw and SOB released to play as out and out flankers, linking play. Kalamafoni provides the physicality off the back of the scrum in defence and attack
* We only look to commit 1 or 2 players to the ruck if there is little chance of stealing. Prefering to protect fringes and smash big inside runners, looking to isolate them
* Use ball carriers of Healy, Attwood, O'Brien, Kalamafoni to make hard yards up the pitch and draw defenders into the ruck area, looking to create space around the fringes for Laulala to exploit
Backs
* Look to get territory first, in poor conditions, want to play the game in their half, so use the boot of Steyn, Hook and Daly
* Picked Daly in the centre, to utilise his big kicking boot. We now have him and Steyn to clear our lines
* Hook to take the ball flat on the gainline, drawing defenders and buying time and space for Steyn. Steyn often used as dummy runner to keep it unpredictable
* Use the inside pass with forward runners of SOB, Attwood, Fearns to keep the inside shoulder honest and force the 10 to make tackles.

In the the conditions we'll look to target scrum and keep ball in so can get squeeze on opposition. See us having a big advantage here so will look to exploit.
We’ll look to target the lineout throughout with 5 top draw options. Alberts, Parling and Parisse will look to mark the front, middle and back and put intense pressure on throughout the game.
Flood/Barnes will dictate tempo and look to get Manu running angles to either punch holes in the opposition midfield or draw the decoy and allow our back 3 into the game.
When the 3 is on in front of the posts we’ll take and the captain will make the call on set piece if an advantage is seen.

- Smith will act as a sweeper and cover any chips or grubbers behind the defensive line.
- We will leave two players sitting deep to cover any kicks and they will look to counter attack of any loose ball.
- With the blitz in operation, we will look to be at the breakdown first hitting it hard and fast. If the ball looks available we will flood the breakdown with looking to get our hands on the ball.
- If the ball is not immediately available we will only commit 1 or 2 players to legally slow the ball down and instead look to strengthen the defensive line.

Tactics
- James and Mitchell are solid technicians and will secure our own feed, to provide first phase possession for our backs. We have strong props on the bench as well, so we should not be outclassed throughout the game
- With a strong lineout, Borthwick will lead the lineout and use himself as banker ball at the front of the line with Percival jumping in the middle. If winning own ball Borth will look to call full number lineouts to tie in the Quins fowards.
- Our whole pack is mobile and capable of snaffling ball at the breakdown. Collectively we will look to (legally!) slow down Quins' ball as much possible, only committing men to rucks if the turnover is on, to prevent them any front foot ball for their big carriers.
- The backrow will target the halfbacks, allowing them no time on the ball, which will lead to them rushing and making handling errors and mistakes.
- We will look to keep the ball alive, preventing them from setting any defensive lines and moving the point of attack. Evans will direct traffic with the use of quick pods systems outside the guards of the rucks.
- Off any first phase possession, the blindside winger will come in to create options off Evans so that it can keep the defence guessing to whether we will go wide, or cut against the grain.
- We will look to test the Quins back three with Pienaar's clever box kicking and Evans throwing the odd bomb in. Their back three can be got at here as they won't be the best defensively, and their urge to attack will find them short in most cases. All kicks will be chased.
- Look to use our strong bench for impact later in the game. To get an advantage in the scrum, and collisions with big impact players.
- Pienaar will kick all points, he can kick from within our ten, so this indicates that Wasps should be wary of giving away penalties.
- At home we make it a struggle for anyone to even get a LBP at our fortress.

Tactics- a bit drier this week, so we'll do a little more running after a hard earned win against Saints. The backrow to approach the breakdown as a unit with McCaw (backed up by Ryan) fighting for the ball on the floor, Vunipola clearing out and Kruis switching between the 2. Only try and turn over vulnerable ball by adding numbers to the ruck- otherwise set the defence. The rest of the pack to chip in. Parra to decide when to carry, when to kick and when to spin. We will spin quick ball. If the blitz cuts off our options use the forwards coming off Parra and chips from 9 and 10. Get Hodgson to move the ball on quickly- either inside to Brits or Billy to smash Cruden, to Allen to get it wide to exploit space made out there by the blitz or to Goode joining the line to switch the attack blindside. Let's not be afraid to carry with the pack either. The Sale locks are big but not the best jumpers so let's kick for territory from our own half and put pressure on the lineout and on their attack with a blitz in their 22 to force errors.
Defence- blitz led by Smith. McCaw to harry Cruden and Kruis Thomas if we have the advantage at linespeed from the ruck and McCaw to help Hodgson if Sale do.
Scrum- we won't realistically shove their front 3 back but we can hold them and rotate the scrum, I'm happy to take our chance at the penalty lottery with our 2 worldclass goalkickers vs more questionable kickers
lineout- vary the jumper as Kruis is an excellent jumper, Botha is the best front jumper in the history if rugby union and they are aided by McCaw and Kohn. We will sometimes use one of the Vunipolas as a dummy half to take the ball down the blindside where Brits and the winger will execute a move.
General- move the ball around in the backs- Smith, McCaw etc are great at supporting halfbreaks as soon as there is a gap. They have a big pack but a light backrow so try to target the pack off te fringes of rucks. If the lineout struggles, bring on Ryan, Brown covers the whole backrow.

* Yachvilli to snipe when space but to release Burns when possible, he will go for goal when in range, Burns is in great form and will look to make his unpredictability show,
* Roberts and Tindall to hit hard and will have a winger on his shoulder at all times and also look for JVN to break through the defence,
* Exciting backs here who will link well and look to constantly run at and through the defence,
* A fast back 3 here who will always look for work and are strong in defence and under the high ball and a very strong bench who will all be utilised.

Tactics- a bit drier this week, so we'll do a little more running after a hard earned win against Saints. The backrow to approach the breakdown as a unit with McCaw (backed up by Ryan) fighting for the ball on the floor, Vunipola clearing out and Kruis switching between the 2. Only try and turn over vulnerable ball by adding numbers to the ruck- otherwise set the defence. The rest of the pack to chip in. Parra to decide when to carry, when to kick and when to spin. We will spin quick ball. If the blitz cuts off our options use the forwards coming off Parra and chips from 9 and 10. Get Hodgson to move the ball on quickly- either inside to Brits or Billy to smash Cruden, to Allen to get it wide to exploit space made out there by the blitz or to Goode joining the line to switch the attack blindside. Let's not be afraid to carry with the pack either. The Sale locks are big but not the best jumpers so let's kick for territory from our own half and put pressure on the lineout and on their attack with a blitz in their 22 to force errors.

- We will play an aggressive blitz on defence, playing on the edge of the offside line and coming up at pace, looking to isolate the ball carrier and stop any Exeter momentum before it
can get going.
- Smith will act as a sweeper and cover any chips or grubbers behind the defensive line.
- We will leave two players sitting deep to cover any kicks and they will look to counter attack of any loose ball.
- With the blitz in operation, we will look to be at the breakdown first hitting it hard and fast. If the ball looks available we will flood the breakdown with looking to get our hands on the ball.
- If the ball is not immediately available we will only commit 1 or 2 players to legally slow the ball down and instead look to strengthen the defensive line.

Tactics
- James and Mitchell are solid technicians and will secure our own feed, to provide first phase possession for our backs. We have strong props on the bench as well, so we should not be outclassed throughout the game
- With a strong lineout, Borthwick will lead the lineout and use himself as banker ball at the front of the line with Percival jumping in the middle. If winning own ball Borth will look to call full number lineouts to tie in the Quins fowards.
- Our whole pack is mobile and capable of snaffling ball at the breakdown. Collectively we will look to (legally!) slow down Quins' ball as much possible, only committing men to rucks if the turnover is on, to prevent them any front foot ball for their big carriers.
- The backrow will target the halfbacks, allowing them no time on the ball, which will lead to them rushing and making handling errors and mistakes.
- We will look to keep the ball alive, preventing them from setting any defensive lines and moving the point of attack. Evans will direct traffic with the use of quick pods systems outside the guards of the rucks.
- Off any first phase possession, the blindside winger will come in to create options off Evans so that it can keep the defence guessing to whether we will go wide, or cut against the grain.
- We will look to test the Quins back three with Pienaar's clever box kicking and Evans throwing the odd bomb in. Their back three can be got at here as they won't be the best defensively, and their urge to attack will find them short in most cases. All kicks will be chased.
- Look to use our strong bench for impact later in the game. To get an advantage in the scrum, and collisions with big impact players.
- Pienaar will kick all points, he can kick from within our ten, so this indicates that Wasps should be wary of giving away penalties.
- At home we make it a struggle for anyone to even get a LBP at our fortress.

Solid pack from Glaws and can see Whitelock causing havoc with Cane winning some ball on the deck , Irish back row keeps this tight. Can see Roberts getting plenty of joy running at King , But Tagi could really punish some average defence from Sharples. Guest playing well in real life.
Saracens 19 Sale Sharks 15
Saracens have a really dynamic pack with Nieto capable on handling Sherry and Vunipola playing well with Kubs struggling in the top 14. Kohn and Botha have real power and will see Saracens generate quick ball. Sarries better at 6 & 7 but Lobbe miles ahead of Billy V. Half backs 1 a piece with Hodgson a bit better over Thomas. Centres just to Sale but don't get enough clean ball to make use of it. Saracens better in back 3.

Will try and do full explanations tonight, but if I don't have time, here's my scores
Exeter 15 - Northampton 19
Scrum: Not much in the front rows, with Strauss having the edge over long term injured Webber.
Lineout: Big gain to the Saints, with an in form hooker and in Bekker, a WC leader, with plenty of other jumpers
Breakdown: Edge here to Exeter with the only proper 7 on show. Lawes and Mafi will both get through some clearing out though
HB's: Saints have possibly the best HBs combo's on this game. Exeter no slouches, but great form and talent from Saints.
Attack: Sexton will prove more of a threat than Wilko and some more dynamism in the pack
Defence: Can't really fault either side, no obvious weaknesses in match ups
Bench: Strong forward options from the Saints help them here
Gloucester 25 - Irish 20
Scrum: Glos by quite a bit, Jones will have huge joy with Lahiff and also wood over Murray, who is on the decline. Hamilton adds grunt, as will Shaw, but not for 80 mins
Lineout: Can't see much in it, I really rate Kennedy at the lineout and Dawiduk's lack of experience could be got at.
Breakdown: Not much to seperate, the young tyro up against the master in the 7 shirt. Savage and TPN provide good extra ruck options
HB's: Simpson in great form, but I'm not a huge fan, think he can be got at and in Cooper, this could be a very flaky partnership. Yach is the epitome of consistency and reliability and won't make game changing mistakes. Burns has huge form points.
Attack: Not much on show in the Glos centres, but they are hugely solid defensively and King will struggle against Roberts. JVN a great experienced link man and 8 and 9 will count for a lot in Glos' favour.
Defence: I'd be concerned about the Exiles' backline defence, with King out of position and HBs and wingers will miss tackles
Bench: Lots of great options on show here with Qera and Hari making a big difference, but also Robson, Lambie and Bowden,
Welsh 19 - Quins 19
Scrum: No huge domination player by player. Think both LHs will have some joy (depends on who refs JJ!) and a keen HK battle
Lineout: Borth is a great lineout leader, especially at this level. I'm not sure that Quins have a real leader though
Breakdown: Stellar back row from Quins sees them get some real joy.
HB's: Big win for the Welsh here, huge form and quality from both players
Attack: Hb's pulling the strings for Welsh, Pienaar with a great tactical kicking game. However, Quins have the better centres, with back 3s even
Bench: Wow! There are some awesome benches in this game now. Great back up props for Welsh and POC and AJ will make a real impact. Quins have Robshaw and some other stand outs, but edge this to Welsh.
Welsh better at 8 9 10 and have home advantage, but Quins have threats across all areas of the pitch and will have more possession at the breakdown
Worcester 17 - Tigers 20
Scrum: Fairly even up front, but better bench options for Tigers. Possibly more grunt in the Worcs second row
Lineout: Form of LBury and rate parling at the lineout. Alberts good option to have as well
Breakdown: Hooper wins on form, as Warbs been so quiet. Haskell will get through some good work, whilst both 8s look to get hands on ball
HB's: Go to Worcs by a long way, the best HB partnership in the world!
Attack: 8 9 10 12 sets the tone for Worcs and I think they will have some joy
Defence: Nonu will damage Barnes, but Manu will hurt Hopper! Not convinced by Wade defensively, whilst Strettle is a top class defensive winger. Some Nonu runs down Flood's channel would be a good tactic I think. Alberts and on form Warbs are huge defensively, but Haskell and Hooper in good nick,
Bench: huge options from the Tigers. Game would be close for 60 mins, but bench has too much
Tactics: None from Worcs costs them in a game that they could have caused an upset
Saracens 22 - 15 Sale
Scrum: Will have concerns over Mako and Nieto fitness for 60 mins, with Britz not a huge scrummager either. Sale have a nice old school scrummaging front row, which I like. Two big lads in the row helps them out here as well
Lineout: Gaskell a good option, but the Sarries pair will take some beating, with Kohn so crucial to Quins in real life. Nous of Kruis at 6 helps
Breakdown: Captain tackles, nuff said
HB's: Love both Sarries players and think they'd be a great partnership, with Parra taking on some kicking responsibilty to help Charlie pull the strings.
Attack: Probably edge the centre battle to Sarries, as JJ has been poor recently
Defence: JJ can be exploited by the Master Smith, Goneva could have been got at by a top class opponent.
Bench: Some good grunt in Brown, Ryan, Kepu, Mullan makes sure Sarries come through at home

Defence: Glaws susceptible on the wings but Irish 9-10-12 axis will struggle
Bench: Better form on the Glaws bench gives them an impact
Tactics: Decent plans from both sides that suit there sides. Glaws will get more momentum through the forwards and get over the gain line easier.
London Welsh 12-17 Harlequins
Scrum: Edge to Quins with the 2nd row helping out more.
Lineout: Edge to Welsh. Quins have more jumpers but no one to lead which will see confusion at times
Breakdown: Neither side will get on top here.
HB's: Both sides with good kicking games but Quins lack the spark to open the defence.
Attack: Mammoth ball carriers on the Quins side who won’t take a backwards step.
Defence: Agulla and Medard could be caught out by the kicking game of Quins
Bench: Robshaw will up the tempo at the ruck
Tactics: Both sides more suited for the wet but Quins playing the right tactics to get at the Welsh back 3.

Feedback for Bathite
Scrum: Against the strongest scrums will struggle down Healy’s/Mears side.
Lineout: Good options and good darts should hold your own ball against most.
Breakdown: Front 5 will clear all day and both flanks good for nicking the ball. Very strong area
HB's: Decent combo but would be bettered by a few in the league
Attack: Won’t be bettered for carrying options. Decent spark in the backs
Defence: Strong here. Daly could be caught occasionally but more then enough around him
Bench: N/A no opposition
Tactics: Good solid game plan taking advantages of your strengthes. Lots of emphasis placed on Steyn though although there are other options to control the tempo
Worcester 18-31 Leicester
Scrum: Cole to get some joy from Marler
Lineout: Both sides have the options to hold their own ball
Breakdown: Good battle both sides clear well but Tigers have a few turnover front rowers!
HB's: To Worcester. Gulf in class with Flood struggling at the moment
Attack: Tigers have a few more danger runners and bit more power
Defence: Hopper will be in for a tough day against Manu.
Bench: Fantastic options for Tigers particularly in the front 5.
Tactics: No game plan is suicidal. Tigers playing to the strengths. Tactics with the halfback superiority could have seen Worcester get something out of the game. Without its hard to see how they combat the Tigers power

Tactics: Not much detail for Sale and hard to see how they want to attack. Opposite is true for Sarries. Messy affair but Sarries sneak at home

Feedback for Bathite
Scrum: Against the strongest scrums will struggle down Healy’s/Mears side.
Lineout: Good options and good darts should hold your own ball against most.
Breakdown: Front 5 will clear all day and both flanks good for nicking the ball. Very strong area
HB's: Decent combo but would be bettered by a few in the league
Attack: Won’t be bettered for carrying options. Decent spark in the backs
Defence: Strong here. Daly could be caught occasionally but more then enough around him
Bench: N/A no opposition
Tactics: Good solid game plan taking advantages of your strengthes. Lots of emphasis placed on Steyn though although there are other options to control the tempo
Worcester 18-31 Leicester
Scrum: Cole to get some joy from Marler
Lineout: Both sides have the options to hold their own ball
Breakdown: Good battle both sides clear well but Tigers have a few turnover front rowers!
HB's: To Worcester. Gulf in class with Flood struggling at the moment
Attack: Tigers have a few more danger runners and bit more power
Defence: Hopper will be in for a tough day against Manu.
Bench: Fantastic options for Tigers particularly in the front 5.
Tactics: No game plan is suicidal. Tigers playing to the strengths. Tactics with the halfback superiority could have seen Worcester get something out of the game. Without its hard to see how they combat the Tigers power

Exeter Chiefs 22 - 20 Northampton Saints
Contest of the week. Upfront I'll edge towards Chiefs with a bit more weight in the front five. Around the park its even. Not sure about Clarke at 7, would prefer Wood. That would give a slight advantage to Chiefs again on the deck. Solid halfbacks from Chiefs will find joy with some cleaner ball, but the Saints unit is dangerous especially their back three. But Chiefs are no slouches. And with a big Chiefs bench to come on, I can see them nicking this with Wilkinson's boot.
Gloucester 25 - 22 London Irish
Two solid front rows, which won't be unsettled by each others strong TH anchoring well. Similar second rows, but can see Irish winning more lineout with kingpin Kennedy. Both strong backrows, and a great battle between Cane and Pocock. I can Whitelock and Messam aiding each so there will be some parity in this facet. Halfbacks are a contest, with settled set pieces its a chance for the glos backrow to unsettle the Irish pairing. But Simpson and Cooper will unleash some very elusive runners. GLos will look dangerous as well, but with a strong bench can see Glos taking this home win.
Saracens 18 - 16 Sale Sharks
Two of the best upcoming packs in the league, and its a very even contest. Sale will carry well, but Sarries are great at the breakdown with several technicians. Lineouts are even, with both have strong jumpers. Big defences here, and like how CJ has covered Hodgson by keeping McCaw on his shlouder. In attack Parra will dictate and impose on Thomas. This will allow the well balanced Sarries line to score some tries. However I like the Sale centres and they look electric. With the better back three and bench Saracens will be victorious, but if at home for Sharks, could've been different result.

Worcester Warriors 24 - 30 Leicester Tigers
Two strong front rows, but telling difference from Tigers. Same in second row, but Wuss won't miss out on their own ball at lineout or scrum time so much. Two class backrows again, and I like the combo of Haskell and Hooper who would do some damage at the breakdown. However against such a class unit like the Tiggers possess it'd be a struggle. Wuss 9-12 will cause some trouble for Tigers defence, but the overall talent from the bench and the backs of Leicester will secure a strong away win.
