Bradford to Qualify for the Europa League?

Very possible for Bradford after last night if the draw and other results favour them. Let's just say, Middlesbrough upset Swansea tonight, and Chelsea beat Leeds next week. The 4 teams that would have qualified for the 2 leg Semi final would be: Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Bradford and Aston Villa. Then Chelsea get drawn against Villa and beat them. Bradford get drawn against Middlesbrough and force another upset over the 2 legs to get through to the final. The final would be Chelsea v Bradford and, assuming Chelsea finish in the Top 4 in the league, Bradford would qualify for the Europa League regardless of the result!

A fourth tier English team in the Europa League? Go on Bradford!

Duty, I don't think the EL spot goes to the runner-up if the winner is already qualified. Think it goes to the 6th/7th PL side.

It does go to the FA Cup runner up if the winner is qualified, though.

EDIT: But of course, they could win it!!!!!

I've already said my well dones on the League 2 facebook page. Now it's another day and what's important for me is that Northampton are one point behind three teams (6th, 7th & 8th) including Bradford with a game in hand on all three. And a game in hand on 5th Exeter but 2 points back.

villa remain favourites, no one can doubt that. i was suprised when the reporter asked the bradford player that, last night. villa are about 70 places higher than bradford and unless the defecit was about 4 goals, they would remain favourites in such a high pressured, big staged, away game. however, bradford have an amazing chance to reach the final. no matter what happens they should use the money they receive from prize money, gate receipts, tv money to build a squad and get out the basement league (must be £2m atleast??)

Thought the same thing, I'm sure some fans will say Bradford just parked the bus not I remember a premier league club doing the same against Barcelona last year.

Cup final this Sunday. Like Chelsea's European Glory last year, it really does look like Bradford are meant to complete their fairytale, win the League Cup and get into Europe. Madness really!

That's an absolute disgrace!

FA are a disgrace, all they care about is money and not a jot about fans or stuff that really matters in the game from grass roots football all the way to the top.

It would of been amazing for British football had won and it would of sent the nation buzzing.

However Swansea 100% deserved it, they played class and completely dominated it. They will do well in the Europa league next season and hopefully there club can get even bigger.
