Last minute tickets

Not sure if you have noticed the Viagogo adverts appearing around many rugby pages at the moment advertising tickets still for sale.

Example, today on Saturday the 6th of October at 07:48 BST

Argentina - Australia | October 6, 2012, 5:00pm = £89.23
Racing-Métro 92 - Munster | October 13, 2012, 2:35pm = £7.24
Australia vs New Zealand - Bledisloe Cup Test | October 20, 2012, 7:00pm = £98.06
Stade Français - Stade Toulousain | October 27, 2012, 3:00pm = £27.40

Clever work by Viagogo, especially at these prices. £7.24 for Racing Metro vs Munster in Paris. I'm not a fan of either side but that sounds like a great weekend a way.

You could still make the Argientina vs Australia game. Though flights are £1700 on British Airways.

How can they justify charging £244 for Wales v England tickets?

I paid more than that for Wales vs Italy last year.

It's supply demand unfortunately.

Though the cheaper weekends away like the racing metro game, or Toulouse vs stade match could be fun.

I got Stade - Toulouse tickets cheaper than that though! There's quite a lot of variability in pricing across the different seats, however

On the Stade Francais official website! 25 quid I think but there was a cheaper option too. Bought for my brother's birthday

Thats very good of you mate. Your brother is a lucky guy.

Club websites are a good idea for tickets. Just had a look at a few offers on various clubs/regions and Provinces, all good rates, definitely cheaper than using a middle man website.

I had guests/work colleagues and had offered to take them, it was my own fault for leaving it so long. These things happen.

Hense my anger at the ref that day for ruining what should have been a good game.

I personally disagree that viagogo is allowed to advertise on here (though i expect the mods have little say in it). Any site that encourages ticket prices to be hiked up is wrong. Some of the prices are scandalous too, but I guess people are soft enough to pay them.
