NFL Competition - Super Bowl Week Results

One game with everything up for grabs. crazy_dave, asdral225, BamBam and tigerrobins all had the title in their sights going into Sunday's Super Bowl but only one could come out on top. 10 points separated them before the game and 10 points separated the four after the game.

crazy_dave and BamBam both went for a 49ers win and scored 6 and 5 points respectively. That left crazy_dave on 3687 points and BamBam on 3681. So asdral225 and tigerrobins who both went for a Ravens win needed 12 and 17 points respectively to top the leaderboard. asdral225 had a 20-17 win for the Ravens so picked up just the 10 points for the correct call leaving him on 3686. tigerrobins had the Ravens to win 31-24 and scored 20 points from that game which was enough to take him from fourth to first in the overall leaderboard.

So after 267 games CONGRATULATIONS TO TIGERROBINS for taking the title .

Away from the overall leaderboard skyforger won the Super Bowl week (for the second year running) with a top score of 24 points while Barney92's 16 points from Sunday was enough to leapfrog crazy_dave and win the Playoffs Competition.

Also worth a mention are Derbyblue had the best average score over the year and adams_legend who call the most games the correct way in 175 games.

quite happy with 5th, decent start

i thought i had underscored most games, can't believe how many teams racked up big points in Week 1

Initially I thought i'd done relatively badly, but when I saw I was 11-5 in GSC's Head to Head league having kept consistent results here I figured i'd do okay.

216pts is ahead of where I would have expected to be

og my god, top of the table, last year I was always near the bottom

There's a long way to go yet adams!

Give it a few weeks and i will be back down the bottom

Ok, I've updated the leaderboards for week 2. I scored less than last week but managed a better week relative to the other scores.

I saw you did quite well in GSC's comp and had to double check but it didn't make any difference. I'm not doing that much better either.

After a horrible week 2 I'm back on form and up 10 places to 5th in the standings.

There were 5 correct scores at this stage last year and Forward Pass was leading on 713 points.

Oh yes 5th place for the week. Best by far. Still languishing down near the bottom overall but some respectability has been restored. Now for me to lose it all again next week.

Should probably think them through rather than picking upsets for the hell of it

Changing my winner for Bucs vs Skins from the TPL prediction league didn't help, still can't complain about 3rd (though not happy I missed a correct score by 1 point!)

tough week that was...quite happy to be 14th and cling on to 4th overall

If I didn't have such a horrible week 2 I'd be right up close behind wadey.

Knew it would be a bad week mainly because I put no effort into being accurate with scores and just put for pretty much all of them to score about 20 points, and then I saw there were plenty of upsets to hurt my score too. I am trying to catch Olly though, seeing as I don't think he has missed a week I'll be fairly happy with that.

Your not far of in getting the games called the right way, it's mostly not being close enough to the scores that is letting you down. Still two thirds of the season to go though so plenty of time to make a move up the table.
