Who will SL/AF/GR treat as the first club to denude when an emergency occurs?

Laugh Portnoy, are you for real? Do you honestly think the England coaches consider which club to "denude when an emergency occurs"?! Surely they just pick the best players available to them?

Nah, Asbo.

The England coaches are always biaised.

They either:

> pick players from someone elses club, even though they are worse than your own club's players

or

> pick players from your club because they want other clubs to do better in the league.

After all, how else can you explain some selections Wink

That'd be (for instance) an incumbent player being injured. Most likely the replacement is drawn from successful English (or EQ) players from successful clubs.

I disagree with As in that the best players are picked: they are more likely to be selected from clubs that make them look good.

I remember one of MikeyPhil's crazy rants. Started off complaining that Johnson was picking loads of Wasps players because he wanted Leicester to do well in the league (baring in mind this was after the EPS came in and Wasps were doing alright). Then later in the year he was picking Leicester players because he was biased towards them (that was the year they won the league and got to the HEC final).

It will be interesting to see if 36 gets selected now he's playing for Glaws.

Nah, they should play and crock Anthony Allen.

Prediction of the season: Mat Tait returns for Leicester, gets picked for the 6 Nations and breaks his leg accidentally crashing into Tom Croft, whose cruciate ligament dissolves in the same collision.

OK

Very true, altho I'd correct your first to ultimately one club-specific and narrow. Wink
