I have just aquired a Kindle and wondered if there are any books people can highly recommend? I am a fan of the old Michael Crighton stuff and James Ellroy as well so if there is anything like that I would be very grateful. None of that Harry Potter rubbish please

You may want to tcheck some of Dennis Lehanes work out. A few of note are 'Shutter Island' and 'Mystic River' both fantastic films and even better books.
