Sad to hear she has retired. Would have been a big ask for her to have got back to her best form.

There is an article in the People on her. Years of injuries have left her suicidal apparently. She was desparate to make the Olympics team for London.

Really sad to hear!

Something we forget when we think about injuries; the athletes themselves have to go through huge personal, psycholgical and emotional struggles with these injuries - let alone the physical. Good luck to her in whatever she does!
