Kelly Pavlik.. Is the Ghost back?

Has anyone seen Kelly's fight from Saturday? He looked pretty dam good in my opinion, he had an excellent jab and really good upper body movement. Granted his opposition wasn't exactly stellar, but it seems that the change of trainer has done him the world of good.

So what do you guys think? Interesting addition to an already booming division.

Have not seen the fight but if he is back to anywhere near his best of course he is a welcome addition, a big punching, blue collar white American fighter is never a tough sell so if he can get back in the picture can only be a good thing, will obviously reserve judgement until I see him but given the troubles he has had in his life would be a massive ask for him to get back to his best but here's hoping he can.

Hopefully he can stay on the straight and narrow. Plenty of option for him at 168lb and if he can get another win over a ranked opponent then he would be an obvious opponent for Ward in the near future.

Just watched it, looks like his power has carried through from MW to SMW but his opponent quit after the second knockdown.

Another option for the big boys in the 168lb division if he is back. A fight with Froch would be interesting at some point, providing the Cobra overcomes Bute.

Kelly said in an interview after he wasn't even putting mean intentions into those left hooks, he was just throwing them out there.

Too soon to tell really, but he did look sharper than last time out. That said, he was fighting a turkey
