Do you really think that Di Matteo can have that good an impact in a 2 month period with exactly the same players having little experience of managing (and that of West Brom)?

And even though it is definately a results based business, AVB was brought in to revamp the playing style and change the philosophy of the club - something that's impossible to do in 8 months. Regardless of if he was poor tactically or man-management-wise, he was not given a chance to implement any change, shape the team the way he wanted or show the effects his change in playing style could have.

Also I can't see what difference Di Matteo is going to have in 2 months.

So he won't get a pay off because of that?

I believe in football when managers don't even last 1 year, they don't get as much compensation as they would normally.

30 million is delusional.

£30 mil includes the £13.7m they paid to get him, regardless, if they sack him they will have to pay up his contract unless it's by mutual consent. They don't do 'probationary' periods in football.
