Who will emerge as first choice England fly-half for 2015 world cup?

Toby Flood, Danny Cipriani, Owen Farrell, George Ford, Freddie Burns, Rory Clegg, Other?

I have heard it rumoured Ford will usurp Flood at Tigers next season?! And I have noticed that SCW (The Oracle) has insisted Ford should have been in Lancaster's squad.

My choice would be 10. Burns 22. Ford. I think Senior Cipriani is destined for the Gavin Henson school of higher PR development. Freddie looked superb against Quins at the weekend and bar the odd wild move was virtually faultless, his pace and vision were superb. GF also looked fantastic against Newcastle, will he get the game time to develop though?!

To be honest I guess it all depends on who takes over as full time head coach and what his take desired tactics and style are. After all he may come in and want to see ball being ran from everywhere and as little tactical kicking as possible, or he could come in and look for the safest tactical kicker he cold find.

Or worst Nick Mallet could get the job and decide to put Courney Lawes there (another Bergamasco style experiment).

I'm going for the slightly black horse choice of Burns- if he doesn't go the way of so many young talented English 10s and fail to progress, he has the talent to be our best

Well if Farrells debut at 10 was anything to go by...he was pretty good...and you know England always go for the controller rather than the playmaker...

Never mind 2015. What about 2012?

I have gone for Freddy Burns, there is something about him that leads me to think that he is going to be a star.

I'm in the Farrell camp. Very talented guy who is playing like a man 10 years older than he is. Could be the flyhalf for the next two World Cups.

The way Burns is playing I'll have to go for him. He seems to have it all, there aren't many weaknesses to this boys game and he must put the fear of god into defences having May, Sharples and JSD to back up his play/breaks.
Would be nice to see such attacking flair on the international stage (as long as it's not against Wales )
