Status.

I checked through the topics here and this suggestion wasn't here as far as i can see, it's a small thing, not sure if we could do it anyway on here but here goes!

On our profile i was wondering if there was a possibility to put like a line about ourselves or like a caption of what we are doing etc or maybe even something like "Busy - At Work". Tell me if i'm being an idiot and not spotted it already.

I guess you could call it a status bar or so, kinda like an msn type thing so it would be for example...

Join Date - Whatever Date
Age - 18
Location - Aylesbury
Status - Busy - In a meeting.

I don't know, i would find it interesting to see that people are perhaps in meetings so they cannot answer my posts on topics or anything.

It does not have to be like that it could just be like - Gone to get food! Or something fun you know?

If possible, I reckon there should be the usual standard ones - Busy, Away, On the Phone, Out to Lunch or whatever but you should also be able to add a bit more if you want.

So it could be: theundisputedY2D2 - Busy - Trying to milk a dragon

Yeah the basic ones should defo be there but i could put the following -

On Leave for a few days - Back Monday.

Or just simply On Leave.

Having had a very quick look it could only be updated by editing your profile each time you wanted to change your status.

If this is something that you think you'd use the I'll have a word with the Admin team to see if we can add a new option called Staus?

I personally would use it, and so would Y2 by the sounds of his post, i sort of wanted more feedback but i can understand it may not be for everyone. That would be great if you could though Enforcer!

Personally, I wouldn't use it, but I suppose it depends on how and where you use the site...

I would be interested to hear some more Admin/Moderator feedback when possible though.
