WWE to introduce a new championship?

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there was internal talk this past week of creating a Divas tag team championship

WHY? is it just to give the Bella's something to do?

I always thought an Inter-Gender Tag Team Championship would be good.

Im with VDT, a lightweight title would give the undercard something to do, those who arent at the level of IC/US championship.

I pray for a return to the glory days of the cruiserweight championship on SmackDown. A boy can dream though eh?

I actually think this would be a great idea, maybe get rid of the normal divas title...

There are currently more divas teams than mens teams:

Natalya/Beth, Bellas, AJ/Kaitlyn, Kelly/Eve, Foxes

There is certainly a market for a Divas tag team division but only if they started signing top quality female wrestlers like Beth, Natalya, McCool etc.

It will be a massive failure though if they persist with pushing the likes of KK though
