Who got Ben Morgan in the draft? They had an absolute result this morning, just gaining an EQ player out of nowhere almost! Saxons squad or a bolter for the EPS?

He'll go straight in with Lancaster saying he will cut all journeymen like Hape , Waldrom and Hape. Tuilagi is ruled out of opening game aswell.

Pretty much the same side Driver, although I don't know why Croft keeps getting binned. He's always been good for England. I'd go with a back row of Croft, Wood, Easter with Robshaw on the bench.

I'm not a bath local, so don't really have the glos rivalry in my blood, neither the hatred for Tigers. Grew up in Kent and Hampshire, so was always starved of a prem team, which means I rate players if they are good and hate players if they are t*ssers (delon armitage is #1) , simple as that really!

Cracks me up and frustrates me so much when you read the rugby section on here, everyone is so biased towards their own team, can't see past it, especially the sarries fans!

I think Croft should seriously consider bulking up and looking to push on in the second row. Wood is top notch and a gets better and better.

Depends on the squad really.

Also, mate used to play for Glos and most of his housemates were this lot of glos youngsters, so known about them for a while!

Think Croft at second row would negate all of his best qualities, being a link, pace, mobility etc. Perhaps a move to 7 would be better?

With Mitchell playing abroad i can only see him next in line as Scott Andrews is pretty kak.

Wales scrum is going to go down the drain in the next 2-3 years which is a shame as they have a wealth of talent in the back line.

Jones is massive for them!

Just a note on cheating/adding players to squads etc. It won't be tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly. This is a trust game and needs people to be straight down the line....cheers!

Are squads finalised yet? I just added an academy hooker that I left off my original list, but happy to get rid of him. Don't want anyone to think im cheating.

Where is the line drawn for academy players? For example, we have loads of Bath Uni boys who played in the A league, some of which are real talents, but aren't in the academy as yet, but most of the academy talent is now in and around the first team.

I don't mind you changing academy players around but it needs to put on domestic confs. No fee will be involved.

Guys: we have Ryan Bevington coming through too and Paul James who are both pretty decent. The guy i've signed on other AP Rhodri Jones is quite good plus don't forget that Geth can play both sides if required!!

Looking at Hookers we are sorted for a while with Burns, Owens and Kirby Myhill.

At fullback i'd have Liam Williams, doing the job for Scarlets.

Bevington is a LH though no Prop? So not much help if Jones isnt playing. James can play TH but better on the LH as well?

Sorry to be a pain Pooly, but I don't understand this bit, as it seems to conflict with the 4 transfers im allowed it says on the other page

"Foreign transfers will be restricted to 2 in season (Mar/Nov) and 2 pre-season.

Teams will initially be given 4 foreign transfers or "tokens" that they can make throughout the season and they will never lose these transfers. Players can bid on players during 1-7th and 23-30th of each month using these 5 "tokens"."

That bit is for a normal season.

The 4 initial signings don't run out so can be used from now till whenever.

Foreigns wont be open all the time, just the times stated. So you may have 2 bids left but you can't bid until they open

England to train at West Park Leeds rather than in Portugal prior to 6Ns

I'v played there and it's got about 100 million changing rooms , top of the range gym and video analyst not bad for a Yorkshaire league club lol

Yeah, I'll go along with it. Would be sad to see Easter go though, think he is a target for unfair criticism. We need some leaders with experience in the pack, wouldn't want a set of forwards with Hartley as the most seasoned player! Terrifying

I still consider Easter the best 8 but if he was involved in the problems in NZ might be best for a fresh start.

Morgan for me needs to start in Saxons. Easter and Waldrom both ahead of him for me.

Palmer only really been first choice in the last 2 years or so and wasn't even that in WC

Agree there Steve, Morgan is untried at Int but could be outstanding alongside Croft/Robshaw/Croft. Thats a real dynamic unit.

Is Morgan that dynamic. When I've seen him I thought he seemed a little sluggish.

best not to use Nick Easter as the bench mark for Dynamism.

Infact I believe the scale starts and Easter and you build up to SOB.

Haha...your not far wrong. I'm a big fan of Easter tbh, he's a clever player and plays heads up rugby, always looking for the offload or gap.

I like Easter when his team is playing well. But I hate him when your side isn't doing well as he just looks disinterested. I want to punch him everytime he does American Football passes.
