Kevin Pearce: Once Ireland's Best Snowboarder

I posted a paragraph on the Golf Board on the BBC's 606 site almost two years ago after Kevin Pearce suffered his traumatic accident while preparing for the Vancouver Olympics.
Kevin is the son of renowned glassmaker and restaurateur, Simon Pearce, formerly of Kilkenny and presumably still retains Irish Citizenship.

After two years, and with Jake Burton at his side, Kevin hit the slopes for the first time since his accident yesterday:
