Let's get Richard Parks knighted

Ok we all think the Western Mail is a load of old nonsense but I would urge you all to sign up to their campaign to get Mr Parks knighted for his 737 challenge. Do it, Do it now!

If you're serious about wanting SAM banned just do it by the book ie report his posts and such.

While I've already expressed my stance on the outdated knighthood, it'd be tremendously unethical to not award Parks his due recognition at the next opportunity. I can understand people who bring up the fact that only those who've contributed to charity consistently over a longer stretch of time have earned the highest accolade but it has to be said that Parks has worked like a machine in an unbelievably short space of time to support his cause. He's done himself harm in the process which goes to reflect his devotion to that cause, what he did not everyone could have. If I'm 100% honest Parks' activities border on superhuman in my mind.

That must be worth more than a routine MBE or equivalent surely!?

Just watching the highlights of Parks adventures on the sports review, what a fantastic achievement, and to overcome an awful injury. Meanwhile raising over a quarter of a million pounds for Marie Curie.
