Frank Warren is insisting the rematch is to happen as soon as possible. Looks like he doesn't give a fiddlers about Groves wanting to develop.

It will happen I reckon sooner rather then later, just a shame because I neve rated Groves but over the last two fights he as matured and seen him come off age. I just hope his development is not halted by bad management filling.

Warren smells a big pay packet via a rematch. If I were Groves having beaten DeGale in the amateurs and as a pro I'd insist on treading my own path, not having a promotor try to define my career with one domestic rivalry this early on. DeGale desperately needs Groves, hence his manoeuvring for the euro belt to make himself an unavoidable opponent for George, but Groves doesn't need JDG anymore and if he really doesn't like him the harshest treatment would be to keep him hanging, not give him the rematch him and fish face crave.

Degale is a man sausage and not actually that impressive. ends up being a smw version of witter. groves is a classy kid and smart. bad move hooking up with warren coz warren favours degale.

Got to agree, I do hope Groves keeps a lid on it and leaves Degale out of his comments. George looks a class act, he doesn't need Degale for a few years yet. Let the dust settle, let the rematch build.

As for Degale not being arrogant, I'm surprised he knows what it means. He might be right though you know, in his own mind at least. Thing is, he's too stupid to realise!

I like it how he's making out he's playing the part of a villian, it's the role he'll have to continue playing, what a plonker, thick people think everyone is as thick as them.
