Ulster recall Ireland internationals Paddy Wallace and Tom Court as they prepare to take on Aironi tonight at Ravenhill. In a notable move, Ruan Pienaar makes his first ever Ulster start at 10. Johan Muller captains the side and Craig Gilroy retains his place ahead of Simon Danielli, whilst Paul Marshall, Paddy McAllister and Nigel Brady also return to the starting XV

ULSTER (15-9): Adam D'Arcy, Andrew Trimble, Nevin Spence, Paddy Wallace, Craig Gilroy; Ruan Pienaar, Paul Marshall

(1-8 ): Paddy McAllister, Nigel Brady, Tom Court, Johann Muller (Captain), Tim Barker, Chris Henry, Willie Faloon, Pedrie Wannenburg

Replacements (16-23): Andi Kyriacou, Declan Fitzpatrick, Jerry Cronin, Neil McComb, Robbie Diack, Luke Marshall, Simon Danielli, Tommy Seymour

Also, Ulster announce the signings of Andi Kyriacou (hooker) and Neil McComb (lock) for next season. The rumour mill is strongly suggesting that we are on the verge of announcing the return of Harlequins duo John Andress (tighthead) and Lewis Stevenson (lock) as well.

Any thoughts on tonights game or the squad for next season?

My thoughts on tonights game?

Notch mate my thoughts are Ulster are going to win Wink

Seriously though Ravenhill is a tough place to go for anyone, a struggling Aironi should not cause you too many problems, just be careful with Danielli we'll probably need him next week.

Poor guy has fallen down in the pecking order behind the 'hot-stepper' Craig Gilroy... he has a fight on his hands to get on the pitch for Ulster, nevermind Scotland!

That said, he looked sharp against Ireland.

It used to be Danielli who was perpetually our top try scorer- this year he's found opportunities hard to come by whereas Gilroy has six tries in six games... for the first time in his Ulster career he's struggling for form to be honest. It's not all about tries, but Danzer doesn't have a huge amount else to his game (although his defence has certainly improved); he has made his reputation as an out-and-out finisher.

Anyway, good to see ya Radge. You keeping well?

Good to see some familiar names over here. Just got fed up with the cr@p being served up on 606. On topic, Gilroy is the future and a lot will depend on whether D'arcy re-signs, the Jane rumour has legs and whether or not Simon goes to the RWC as to how much gametime he will see at Ulster in the future

Gilroy had a flaky enough game in the back three there, but he'll learn more from that than from the games he's done very well. No real excuse for Daniellis flakiness!

Couldnt agree more. One is at the start of his career and the other approaching the end. All Ulster need to do is manage the transition which they seem to be doing well.

Interestingly i wonder will Trimble make Irelands RWC squad. Fitz, Bowe, Earls and McFadden all seem to be above him in the pecking order currently. I cant see him not going but when is Deccie going to give him his shot? He has no problem giving ROG gametime citing 'deserves a chance' as his reason. Surely the same should apply to Trimble

The same applies to a lot of players. I think he will get at least one start before the RWC to see what he offers.

He was ahead of McFadden, all set to start against Italy, then he got injured. Unlucky. For me it was the wrong decision not to recall him after that, but now Bowe is back.

To be honest, he should be on the bench because I don't think we need Wallace there unless he starts.
