Completely Narvaez's fault. Donaire wanted to fight but Narvaez wouldn't do a thing. Donaire had every single round. Complete shutout. Crowd was booing and Donaire was a bit annoyed by the end.

Awful awful fight. Like Pacman Vs Clottey - Navraez just came to survive. Think he felt Donaire's power in the 3rd and decided not to come forward and get hurt anymore. Disappointed for Nonito - crowd were booing as well. First time he gets aired over here and it was a stinker.

No need for a spoiler alert on this one. Not too many going to watch a replay of that.

Donaire was saying to his cornermen between rounds that he was bored.

Careful then TopHat, I Sky plussed it and then the recording stopped mid-way through the 3rd round, telling me the programme had stopped.

Anybody else have that problem?

Happened to me before when I tried to record Froch v Dirrell on Primetime*, that stopped mid-way through the 5th. I am beginning to think my Sky box has a conscience and saves me from poor fights.

*This is in no way a reflection on Primetime who are, in fact, great.

Set a manual record with a later finish time.

Tina this happens a lot, normally with Sky it is not a problem as you can just record the programmes after the fight for an hour and you're sorted, and if the fight runs on time you tend to get an episode of Aerobics Oz Style so its a winner either way. However with boxnation as there are no programmes on after you can't record programmes start at six PM.

Only saving grace is thus far they repeat everything loads through the week.

Also happend on the Hopkins fight.

Was repeated the following day at 10pm though. Probably better to record the repeats, think it is to do with the fight taking place after 6am? The box nation channel just cuts out at 6?

Shouldn't have too. I pay a fortune for Sky every month. If I press record, I expect it to record the whole programme, not just part of it.

Thanks for the advice though, James.

But you do. Do you want to actually watch the whole programme or moan about not being able to watch it all?

- Go to 'Services' on your Sky Planner.

- Click option 8 'Manual Recording'

- key in the channel number, date and start and end time of your recording.

Well I'll thank you Scott, did not even know such a thing was possible, although has never really been a problem with Sky sports but nice to know for boxnation.

Both, I want to watch it, and then moan about something afterwards.

Anyway, no big deal, thanks to jeff and huw for their polite help.

Scott, do one.

Cheers Scott - the programme cut for me as well, just like the hopkins fight. Will be doing that from now on!

Had to frantically download the fight after the 6th round cut on me.

Thanks Scott, it's happened to me in the last two weeks watched the full undercards then only to be abruptly stopped in the middle of the main event.

Think Boxnation has been a revelation, I know lot of negative things said about the channel but at the moment it's delivering a helluva lot of boxing and the studio talk is much more varied and in depth than Adam Smith endless cliches.

Noticed Sky main event next week is the tedious Prizefighter again?

Has anyone else cancelled like me?

Still watch footy on there so going to keep mine. Also all the matchroom fights will still be on sky as well as ringside.

Mmm, might watch it tonight to check. Had the same problem with Dawson-Hopkins fight, recording ended half way through the first round! Luckily it was replaying just as I was trying to watch my failed recording so caught it that way (not that I was at risk of missing much). Think that was BoxNation too, maybe they're having teething problems....

Same, plus cricket and, soon, the F1. Have HD, movies, ESPN and Sky multiroom as well, so something's going to have to give if I take up Boxnation.....
