is this an ileagal tackle? Empty is this an ileagal tackle?

No nothing to do with Warbs or Shane, i've noticed more and more in this world cup players, mainly around the fringe of rucks instead of tackleing just diving shoulder or back at the attacking players shins. Now to me as no attemt is made to use the arms, just the body to trip the player is this allowed??

I've not noticed it when i play so it's not trickled down the lower leagues yet.

Thoughts on this?
