For which type of fishing, mate?

My creel pretty much contains everything that is needed for float fishing and swimfeeding/legering. If I'm doing anything more specialised then I add bits and pieces in as necessary.

I've got a pretty rounded knowledge of most methods, but I'd say bog standard float fishing would be my real area of expertise, followed by trotting a stick float down a river.

Unfortunately haven't been out pike fishing for a while (probably in the knowledge that it'll take some degree of luck to beat my P.B).

Funny you should say that, Kenny, as I purchased a centre pin for myself just last week, ready for when I go trotting. Like you, I've never useed one either.

I was blown away i know it didn't cost much but it was a really nice surprise , although he did spoil it by telling me about his weekend fishing the Ouse .. Perch and Chubb over 3lb and he caught over 30 fish between saturday morning and sunday night . Jealousy is an ugly thing

Cracking specimens.

One place I would recommed fishing for Chub is on the Severn at Holtfleet. In the winter we have had 6lb chub there.

See my above post, cf.

Fished it several times, spinning at Arley (also had a 9lb barbel there once), chub fishing at Holtfleet, and fished at Uckernall a few times, too.

Yeah plenty of zander in places, I've never fished for them though I've always meant to at some point.
