Agreed Soldier, met him at the airport on way to Hatton Mayweather, genuinely nice bloke, chatted friendly as you could hope for absolutely ages. Have not spoken to anyone who has met Shavers with a bad word to say about him

Is he still there? Crikey, he was there about 10 years ago when I still lived in Chester. He was a cracking bloke and I had a similar experience to you Soldier, my mates were off chatting the ladies up whilst I spent a good hour talking into the ear of a huge black bloke. Took me ages to persuade my mates that he was famous.

My cousin who is well known for tall tales said he met Shavers on a weekend out in Liverpool.

Feel a bit silly not believing him now.
