The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Is there a new customer incentive for the new pub opening? Something like 2-4-1 on all bundys for example??
Mine's a large one, and if you haven't got bundy then get some, whilst in the meantime I'll just have a large Bells on ice please...
And are you showing the super15 final tomorrow morning?

Oz, Bundys are on the house. For as long as the Reds are behind on the scoreboard anyway . But don't worry, I won't insult anyone by serving Canterbury Draught (actually I don't even know where they're brewing the stuff after the brewery failed to be sufficiently earchquake-proof)

Morning All
Some sad news from the O's camp. Gareth Owen has suffered a nasty injury in training and is likely to be ruled out of the entire season That's not the sort of thing I like to hear about for anyone.

Thats a right balls Cari about Gareth Owen.
Had to make a nasty phone call this morning to a customer looking for money. Technically our client are in the right but in reality the customer is being fairly shafted.

I know why you're giving Bundy away. I bought a couple of cans of Bundy and Coke at the New South Wales Country v Lions match. I took a mouthful and it felt as though the enamel was being stripped from my teeth, needless to say I passed it round for everyone to appreciate and left the other can inthe hotel room as a present for the next guest.
I might be eating from the batch (I'm in Coventry) van down the road this morning.
Just seen it's the Middlesex 7's this weekend, it's usually on in August ?

Cheers kiwi, but reds are not even going to be behind any time in the game!!
Not had Canterbury draught, but drank DB when I was there, plus the usual speights!
But if you're not showing the game tomorrow morning where am I going to watch it in London? Suggestions anyone? I guess the usual suspects the Walkies will be showing it, 9:30 kick off UK time isn't it?

It's strong stuff, that Bundaberg. But what's the polar bear all about?
Sad to hear that about Gareth Owen, Cari. He's been talked about as one to watch for ages now and either wasn't given enough chances with the Os or didn't take the few chances he was given.

Coverage starts at 10.30am UKT. Walkabouts will have it, I'm going to the Wheatsheaf on Haven Lane in Ealing Broadway - they serve a good brekkie too.

Just posted something which used (enteriely in context ) the more basic word for 'posterior' and it's came out as 'bum' on the actual post.

There's a coincidence, so am I.
I just ducked into old 606 (to try and steal some emoticons). Looks like the Beeb have purged the subject tags - no posts under "rugby union".

Sickening pro-English bias from the Admin team there
