Re: 6CWF Chat V2
I was tempted to try and go back through all the shows and find Wood’s full time win - loss record but I realised that’s probably impossible and it might end up depressing me
What I do like to do though is pick a random show to read just to jog the memory of 6CWF and look back at old promos

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
For certain characters it will be possible (hugely time consuming) as all 6CW/EWF/6CWF shows are archived on this site & the old 6CW site. The issue comes about more for anyone wanting 6WF records as nearly all Shutdown/Lockdown from the early days got wiped with the closure of 606. I know Marshall compiled a pretty extensive list for 6WF back in the day (think it's on the old 6WF site) and I'd like to do something similar for 6CW, at the very least, but it will definitely take some time and composure

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
I think, 6WF wise this is the majority of the list:
King of Kings
Randy Peeper
EZ Money
Diablo
Hero
River Ace
Acer
Finlay
TGA
Nemesis
Trash TV
JJ Johnson
Mat (out of character)
Demon (out of character)
For 6CW:
Dicey Reilly
Median
Daniel Reilly
Drake
Jerome Dubois (in and out of character)
Paul Mac (Out of character)
If there are more I’ve forgotten then please let me know because I’d like a complete list. There will be a Hall of Fame this year so please add to the list so I don’t re-add someone who’s already been inducted.
Just been trawling through some old threads for info and I stumbled across a discussion from about 6-7 years ago just wanted to clear up a common misconception (not really sure how it ever came about to be honest) because I wasn’t and never have been Tyson Armstrong. For some reason I’ve read ‘It was definitely JJ’ and I can assure you it never was. I have a list of characters, some half decent and some sh1t but I wouldn’t book my own character in a near one year unbeaten run that ended with a world title win.

Nah, that phase hasn't come yet. Watch this space
Just had a read back in regards to Max Adamson - Max was set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018 (before 6CW closed down) and was set to feud with JJ (also set to be inducted) but Night of Glory never happened (Uryu had won the Gateway and never got his shot). In reality the Hall of Fame didn't happen. A point of contention, I guess, as the ceremony never happened. Might be something to address in stories going forward.

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
Ed - I haven’t directly referenced a PC mate but I am more than happy for there to be one. Feel free to name it if you like.
Originally when I restarted 6CWF I was going to get you all to start out with new characters and a new era that all just graduated from the PC but then decided against it because I was unsure how many would come back if they had to through creating a whole new character etc.
Still think it would have been good, Rex is a great example.
That being said I also appreciate there are a lot of characters with unfinished ‘stories’ (alright Cody) and many of you want them to have a definitive run.
Just started on the Gateway today. Gonna be hitting that caffeine hard soon

Wasn't there something like this in the past? Loosely based on the original NXT format with the roster being new characters managed by their promoer's old/existing character?
I didn't participate but it sounds familiar

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
Yeah 6WFNXT or something? I wasn't involved at the time (was running CW) but from what I remember there was a mass influx of new joiners and that is where the idea spawned from. A guy called Edan Ekram won it. He looked like he was going to be half decent but then just disappeared. Sure that wasn't you, Marky?

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
I'd make a new character for numbers but
1. I've already got two characters
2. If i was to bring someone new in, I'd bring back Brandon Perez because he was fun and the other option would be Austin Stevens and looking back at some of my old promos, he was very hit and miss/didn't really suit 6CW.

Steve, from a selfish point of view, the Rex Adamson/Genesis/Kent storyline is by far one of the funnest and most enjoyable things i've been a part of alongside Marky, Dec, Dale and yourself. Thank you for creating some next level story which I think can go on for ages as we all tell the story. Honoured!

We can do the love-in all night, Ed, because the feeling is mutual.
I appreciate the kind words, thank you, but I’ll always say that I wouldn’t be able to create these stories without all of you and your tremendous work.
Ever since I first took charge with booking in late ‘09 I have been very fortunate to have some great promoers to create storylines for. It makes a huge difference.
But I do think, no joke, this is the greatest roster we have had in terms of depth of quality. The numbers may not be as big as we’ve had in the past but I’m not sure we have ever had as many ‘top tier’ promoers than we have now. It’s why I say picking winners can be so difficult because there’s so many guys who belong at the top.
It’s why I concentrate on designing (hopefully) intricate and interesting storylines for you all to be invested in. Because not everyone can have a title or be champion but doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be getting maximum enjoyment from this.

Amen brother! with what Marky, Dale, Dec and yourself are doing it's grand to add little pieces to help further construct a brilliant story. Just taking some inspiration from Scarface, Game of Thrones etc with their twists/turns to try and add to a more compelling story, without the drugs/incest hahahaha

Sticking with Plague, although if I was betting, would also throw a couple quid on Gazzy and Blue Dragon.

Plague to help Gazzy retain.

The promos have been nothing short of sublime in the build up to this event, nice one lads.
To answer DP's question; no I haven't decided who is winning
I have an idea but it is still between 2-3 potential candidates. It's an extremely difficult decision to make.
