Post by JJJohnson Mon 21 Aug - 20:06

*We go live on air from the huge “Beachfront Brawl” press conference which is taking place at a packed out Daytona Beach in Florida (where the PLE will take place). A huge crowd has gathered and is on hand as Brandi Johnson welcomes us to the event and is hyping the “tenth addition” of one of 6CWF’s biggest shows of the year.

There are tables set up in a tiered system and nearly all available 6CWF talent have places at the table. A huge crowd of media and fans have assembled and are based below on the beach itself. Media are asking questions to the talent and we get a pretty fierce interaction involving Marty Helms and his “challengers” at Beachfront Brawl. Helms is reminding the world what he has done to all of these men and then wonders exactly what anyone believes the chances or outcomes will be any different inside the most brutal environment in professional wrestling. Dicey Reilly chimes back and says Helms believes himself as the biggest and baddest but every single one of them wants to “maim and destroy him” so he’s curious to how exactly Helms believes he can overcome all of them at Beachfront Brawl. Helms retorts “Just wait and see”.

*O’Callaghan shuts down Jerome Dubois with his usual bravado and is promising to “slap the garlic outta ya DNA” the first chance he gets. Dubois is stood up now and beckoning for OC to do it now. Security are trying to calm the matter down. Scott Harris starts talking about “main eventing” but Dicey, Rex and Helms all “snore” into their mics, which draws a few laughs. Rex Adamson is asked about using the “Key to the Kingdom” to enter as the 6th entrant in the Elimination Chamber but he remains coy. Rex just wants us to know that when the time is right, he will be the world champion and he will do it faster than anyone ever has. Mike Hill is shown glaring at him from a tier above, shaking his head as he does so.

*Anthony Grace has his own question now and wants to know “who’s turn is it on Christy tonight”. Gazzy is up on the tables now and he sprints across and dives over from the top tier and clatters into Grace as tables and chairs are sent flying. This is the explosion point for many as Reborn’s entourage breaks in and is throwing chairs around. Uryu takes a “sucker punch” to the head and it is unclear if it is comes from Reborn or one of his “minders”. The 6CW Champion aims a kick through the masses of bodies and sends Reborn staggering backward…..GazzyD has been pulled from the melee by a huge member of security and is away from the debris and fighting. He looks up and sees the smiling face of Edward Plague. Plague grins at him and drills him with a huge urange slam on the solid steel platform before disappearing from sight. Brandi Johnson, Diablo and Alex Walker are trying to restore order but it seems that horse may have bolted.

*Marty Helms picks up a drink and lashes it in the face of Dicey Reilly and looks to boot him off of his chair but Scott Harris tackles him over the table and unloads with punches. Helms kicks him away and gets back up as Tyler Roth smashes him in the face with a huge forearm. Helms staggers now and Dicey is up and lashes a chair across Helms’ back. Helms drops to his knees as Cerberus grips him by the throat and chokeslams him through the table. Dicey, Cerberus and Roth all stare at one another.

*Eddy Kent and Lex Hart are being kept apart and then we get a shot of Geoff Steel, who has been glassed in the melee, and has blood running down the side of his head. Blue Dragon can be heard shouting in the background. We see Cody Walker running along the back of the tiered structure and he front flips off into a 15ft dive into a crowd that includes Cassidy, James McManus, Daniel Reilly etc.

*Brandi is looking at her counterparts but Alex Walker merely shrugs and says “You wanted hype, here it is”. Emmy is trying to pull Liam Wood out of the conference when security accost them. One of the “guards” turns out to be Vincent Costello and he has “brass knucks” on to deliver a staggering punch to Wood’s jaw and drops him. Costello smirks and blows Emmy a kiss before disappearing into the crowd of bodies.

*We then get a shot of Clarke James, all alone, at the top of the press conference. He hasn’t moved one iota and just continues to sit whilst chaos ensues all around him. Brandi Johnson looks up and Clarke James just stares back at her as the press conference comes to an end.

*We go live on air now from inside the Kaseya Centra in Miami, Florida. RJ and Jeff Thadeus welcome us to the show and recap what happened at the "historic press conference" just a few hours earlier. They go through tonight's card on the final stop before "Beachfront Brawl X".

*Cody Walker is preparing for the opening bout when his father knocks on the door and enters. Alex explains that he knows Cody is his own man and wants to do his own thing but he’ll always care and he knows he is capable of greatness. Cody takes a moment but thanks his dad for the support and says tonight he wants to draw a line under the Cassidy feud and move on.

A shadow passes the doorway and laughter can be heard. Both men turn but there is nobody there.

*Cassidy is in his locker-room and he’s talking about finally ending things with Cody Walker and proving himself as the next big star in 6CWF. It becomes clear he is talking to someone but we don’t get a clear shot of who is giving him directions.

Bout 1
No Disqualification
Cassidy vs Cody Walker

*We are live at ringside and the Miami crowd are in fine voice as Michael Bird does the honours for the opening bout of the evening. Cassidy is the first out, amidst a crescendo of boos, and he seems as full of himself as ever. He welcomes the negative reception and seems to take life from it. The commentators are talking about how Cassidy started so well in 6CWF but his “obsession” with Cody Walker seems to have caused a real loss in focus. They believe he needs to get his focus back if he is to gain any kind of success.

*Cody Walker is given a huge ovation from the audience as he bounces out onto the stage. He has a huge smile on his face as he breathes in the atmosphere of the crowd. JT believes Cody is fast becoming one of the most popular stars on the roster and is really resonating with the younger members of the audience. Cody leaps up into the ring and continues to soak up the ovation.

*Cassidy has rolled from the ring and then back in with a kendo stick. He beckons for Cody to get down off the ropes and waits for him to turn around before whipping the weapon at his head but Cody ducks it and runs the ropes before flying back with a heel kick takedown. Cassidy stumbles up and Walker scoops him onto his shoulders before flinging him off into a pele kick. Cody signals to the crowd and then nails “rolling thunder” but Cassidy kicks out.

*Cody picks up the kendo stick. He climbs out and heads up the ropes. He tucks the stick under his legs and looks for a huge leaping famea55er (Howling Moon) but Cassidy moves and the stick snaps underneath Cody as he lands. Cassidy drags Cody up and nails a fisherman’s neckbreaker across his knee but Cody just about kicks out.

*Cassidy gets a trash can now and he drags Walker up before suplexing him across it, crumbling it under his back. He places another trash can between the ropes and he drags Cody up before launching him head-first through the weapon. Cassidy sets up for the “sins of our father” spear but Cody leaps over him and lands a mule kick, sending Cassidy crashing into the turnbuckle. Cody rolls out onto the apron and then springboards in and moonsaults into a reverse DDT but Cassidy kicks out.

*Cody looks for a “falcon arrow” but Cassidy floats over and lands a low blow as the crowd boo furiously. He grabs Walker and flips him into a powerbomb before launching him over the top rope and sends him crashing onto the walkway. Cassidy gets a steel chair now and he sets it up on the walkway. He drags Cody up and prepares to DDT him on the seat before delivering it, Cody’s head snapping through the steel.

*The referee is asking Cassidy to show mercy and finish it but he shakes his head. He lifts the ring apron up and grabs the “branding iron” and holds it up. The commentators are calling for someone to stop this but somehow Cody is up and he runs to the ropes and handsprings into a moonsault takedown over the top to the outside as the crowd go wild.

*Cody is dazed and confused as he drags Cassidy up and launches him into the ringside barrier. Cassidy slumps there as Cody climbs back onto the ring apron and then spins off into a legdrop (ala RVD). Cody then drags a ladder out from under the ring and slides it in as the cheers go up another notch. He grabs two chairs and throws them inside now before rolling Cassidy back in.

*Cody springboards in and nails leg lariat across the scattered chairs as Cassidy tries to get up. Walker then sets one of the chairs up and then grabs the other before running up and jumping onto the ropes before twisting back with an “Arabian facebuster” crushing the chair against Cassidy’s head as he lands. Cody then sets the chairs next to each other and he steps up on one of the seats. He pulls Cassidy up on the seats with him now but Cassidy counters with a backdrop that sends Cody crashing back onto the mat. Cassidy jumps down and he grabs the ladder and sets it up before rolling from the ring and grabs a table. He slides that in and sets it up.

*Cassidy beckons for Cody to rise and then looks for the “Idolatry” (Judas Effect elbow) but Cody ducks it and then nails the “Masamune” (Trouble in paradise kick) that leaves Cassidy sprawled across the upright table. Cody then wows the crowd as he heads up the ladder to the top. He poses at the top and then the lights dim and three poisonous green question marks appear on the big screen. Sinister laughter fills the air. The lights come back on and Cody is looking confused. He shakes his head and then throws himself into a “Coffin drop” off the top of the ladder but Cassidy rolls off and sends Walker crashing through the wood, leaving him in a battered heap.

*The fans look concerned now as Cassidy laughs. He drags Cody up and they stand on the seats of the chairs in the middle of the ring before Cassidy delivers a devastating package piledriver through the chairs for the three count. Cassidy sits for a few minutes now with a smirk on his face before rolling out of the ring, leaving Cody unconscious in a heap. The referee is signalling for a doctor to check on Cody’s condition.

*The commentators are debating on the “???” we saw on the big screen and the distraction that led to Cody Walker’s downfall. Is someone after Cody? What are the motives? Is Cassidy involved? Or is this the end of the Cody/Cassidy feud?. Cassidy continues to laugh as he raises his arms and heads up onto the walkway and then backstage. We see Alex Walker coming down to check on the condition of his son. Cody is sat up, although very groggy, as the fans applaud him. Alex and a medic help Cody to his feet as the cheers continue. Alex is looking around, clearly suspicious of what has just happened, as he keeps an arm around his son and helps him backstage.

*Alex Walker helps Cody back into the trainer’s room so that he can be checked over. Cody wants to know who is coming after him but Alex tells him to just concentrate on healing up and he’ll deal with whoever cost him the match. Cody nods at his dad. Alex leaves the room and is making a phonecall. We see a familiar face hovering in the background, over Walker’s shoulder, with a sinister smile on their face.

*Jerome Dubois is here in Miami and looking forward to defending his GWA Championship against anyone foolish enough to step up here tonight. Dubois is holding out hope that JJ Johnson will finally be man enough to face him but he knows better. Dubois promises that he is going to put 6CWF on the map more than JJ ever could….just like he did with 6CW.

*Gazzy wants to cut the (beep). Plague wants to play games, target his family, but they all know where this is heading so Gazzy is getting it done. He challenges Plague to any match he wants at Beachfront Brawl….he isn’t falling for any of the sideshow, circus, bull(beep) any longer.

Bout 2
Open Challenge
Jerome Dubois vs ???

*Jerome Dubois makes a grand entrance with his GWA World Championship around his waist as teems of pyros go off around the arena. He undoes his robe and drapes it across the steel steps before climbing up into the ring. The commentators talk about how this is the first Dubois appearance in any 6CW/6WF affiliated ring for 7/8 years. They talk about Dubois’ long history especially with 6CW and how he believes that company, spiritually, belongs to him and he has taken umbrage with JJ Johnson’s ownership. They remind us he has not signed a contract with the company but is performing under a “free agent” banner with the blessing of the Global Wrestling Alliance. Dubois has been their world champion for nearly a whole year so he is taking a risk by coming over to 6CWF for an open challenge.

*Dubois paces the ring, waiting for an opponent, when the whole arena begins to hum “Run this town”. O’Callaghan enters the scene in his own grand robe of sparkles and glitter. He smiles at the crowd and then makes his way to the ring. The commentators remind us that there have been plenty of issues backstage between these two personalities in the last couple of weeks so it comes as no surprise that OC is answering Dubois’ “open challenge”.

*OC has plenty of trash talk for Dubois as the referee checks on them both and prepares them for the upcoming battle. He then signals for the bell to start them off. They circle and then lockup. OC is quick with the control and lifts Dubs up off the floor and slams him to the mat. He looks for ground control but Dubois fights out and they manage to get back up. Dubois looks for a quick kick but OC catches his foot and lifts him into a kneebreaker before nailing a dragon screw. He kicks at the leg of the champ and looks to turn him into a “sharpshooter” but Dubs pokes him in the eye and then launches O’Callaghan out of the ring, demanding the referee to count him out.

*OC is back in on six and Dubois stomps down on him. He drags OC up and looks for a “go flasher” suplex but OC drops behind and snaps off a huge release German suplex. Dubois stumbles up into a saito suplex now and OC points up high. He climbs to the top and twists off into a 360 splash but Dubois throws his shoulder off the mat before the three.

*OC looks for a “coquina clutch” but Dubois drives backwards into the corner to squash him and break it up. Dubois stumbles toward centre ring for a breather as O’Callaghan runs out at him, but is spun into a spinebuster by the champion. Dubois heads to the corner and he leaps off the top with a missile dropkick but OC kicks out.

*Dubois sets up for the “dominator” (Culture shock) but OC fights off the back again and stumbles to the corner. Dubois chases in but eats double knees to the face. OC then hooks the arms of Dubois and nails an overhead belly to belly suplex into the turnbuckle. He drags Dubois away from the ropes and covers for a nearfall once more.

*OC climbs out onto the apron and he is looking for a springboard but Dubois runs in and nails him with a huge forearm smash. He then climbs onto the ropes and shows amazing power to suplex OC back in and into a “go flasher” for a nearfall. Dubois crouches in the corner now and runs out for the “French connection” spear but OC sunset flips over him into a pin for a two. They stagger back up and OC ducks a clothesline attempt and nails a snap dragon suplex. Dubois rolls over from the impact and drops his head across the middle rope. OC “dials it up” and nails a 619. He then springboards back in for a frogsplash but Dubois gets his knees up and then pulls OC into a cradle for a two count.

*The crowd are applauding the action as Dubs sets for the “Culture shock” (dominator) again but OC fights off and locks in the “coquina”. Dubs struggles and fights to keep on his feet so OC turns it into a slam but the champion rolls from the ring before a count can be made. OC tries to leave the ring but the referee holds him back. OC pushes him away and finally gets out to give chase but Dubs has recovered enough to nail the “French connection” spear into the steel steps. Dubs throws OC back in the ring now and nails the “Au Revoir” sit out slam but the Irishman kicks out again.

*Dubois is far from happy as he looks for his own sharpshooter but OC drags him down into a small package for a two count. They both fight back up and OC lifts Dubois onto his shoulders but the Frenchmen rakes the eyes and drops behind. He shoves OC into the referee and then nails a low blow. The referee is hurt but still conscious as Dubois follows up with the “Culture Shock” and gets the three.

*The crowd are booing as Dubois celebrates with his GWA Championship. He mockingly dusts his feet off on OC and continues to mock him but OC grabs his legs and swipes them. He turns Dubois into the sharpshooter as the crowd go wild. Dubois is frantically tapping his hand to the mat as OC continues to punish him. The referee finally manages to separate them. OC conducts the audience once again in humming his theme tune. He looks down at Dubois and smirks before picking up his GWA Championship and he throws it on top of the Frenchmen. The commentators talk about how Dubois was successful on his return but he seems to have made an enemy out of O’Callaghan and this could lead to more clashes in the near future.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 21 Aug - 20:13

*We get a shot of Mike Hill, European Championship over his shoulder, entering the 6CWF Boardroom. The commentators ponder on what Hill is doing.

*Cassidy is sat in his locker-room, basking in his victory, and he is asking someone “what is next?”. He gets an answer and he nods his head with a smile, it is clear that whoever is giving him pointers has his seal of approval.

*We get a recap on the Costello-Wood brawl from earlier tonight at the Press Conference. Now Vincent Costello is sitting backstage and he has a storybook. He wants to tell us a tale “as old as time” and way back to the beginning of EWF. Costello claims to have been “misunderstood” and “painted as the bad guy” when in reality it is Wood who is “real scum”.

Costello talks about himself as the “white knight” and how when Wood finally gave in to his “emo tendencies” and “jumped off the deep end” he was the one there to comfort Emmy. And “comfort her I did”. Costello shows us a picture from the book and it is of Emmy in a towel, taken by someone she was clearly comfortable with. Costello says he has “more pictures” but urges Wood to see him in private.

There is a massive commotion now as Wood bursts into the room and attacks Costello. They are brawling on the floor and Wood is beside himself with anger as Costello laughs. Security pour in to pull them apart. Costello continues to enjoy the conflict and tells Wood that “Women lie….it’s part of their DNA….the proof doesn’t lie” and he throws more pictures at Wood’s feet. Wood looks down and it is clear he is beside himself with the rage. Costello is pushed from the room as Wood grabs one of the security guards by the head and crushes his skull right through the wall. Wood is visibly shaking as the other guards take a step back from him. Emmy rushes in to try and calm the situation down. She looks down and sees the pics on the floor. She reaches out for Wood’s hand but he shoves her away and she falls down. Emmy has tears in her eyes as Wood glares at her and then storms out of the room. Costello’s voice can still be heard “And that ain’t even half of it”.

Bout 3
6CWF European Championship
Mike Hill (c) vs James McManus

*James McManus is first out to ringside and we get a recap of last week’s victory over Cody Walker which guaranteed him this title shot here this evening. RJ talks about McManus’ long history with this title and how it was his springboard in 6WF to becoming an established name. Jeff Thadeus believes McManus can be a real player here in 6CWF but taking out Mike Hill is far easier said than done.

*McManus continues to prepare himself but here comes Brandi Johnson, much to the surprise of the audience. Brandi has the 6CWF European Championship over her arm, which is raising some eyebrows. Brandi is here to make an announcement. Mike Hill has chosen to exercise an option called “All or nothing” where an established champion relinquishes their title in order to pursue another. She doesn’t elaborate any further on that but the European Championship is now vacant.

*McManus is almost demanding the title be brought down and presented to him but Brandi isn’t playing the game like that. She says the European Championship will be on the line at Beachfront Brawl in a “Gauntlet” match and she is throwing it open to anyone and everyone on the roster. She tells McManus he is more than welcome to throw his name into the hat and he nods his head but is still adamant that he should be made the champion because “Hill was too scared to face me”.

*Brandi says that all competitors who wish to compete for the belt at Beachfront Brawl should make their intentions known by the end of the show. The commentators are surprised by Hill’s decision but admit that his form is so impressive that it isn’t a shock that he is choosing to go on the hunt for more championship gold. They wonder what champion and what title he is pursuing.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

*Daniel Reilly and Oliver Keane accost Alex Walker backstage. They want to know once and for all what the “opportunity” is and Walker is all smiles. He says that Reilly has been granted the final entrant spot in the “European Gauntlet” at Beachfront Brawl which gives him the greatest opportunity of leaving as champion. James McManus interrupts and isn’t happy as he should have been made champion and believes he should have final spot. Reilly and McManus bicker before Jerome Dubois and then O’Callaghan get involved. All four men are making it clear they are throwing their hats in the ring at Beachfront Brawl and will be competing to become the brand new European Champion.

*Brandi Johnson is on hand to announce that Cameron Faith has been in touch to put forward his name for the European Championship Gauntlet as well as Cassidy and Cody Walker (provided he passes medical evaluation) and that makes seven for the match at Beachfront Brawl.

*We see Blue Dragon arriving at the arena as we get hype on the “Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch” and the commentators wonder if there will be any physical altercations here tonight. The scene quickly changes and it becomes apparent that Dicey Reilly and Marty Helms are scrapping in the backstage area, giving everyone flashbacks of what happened three years ago. Dicey seems to have the upper hand on the 6WF Champion but Helms unscrews a fire extinguisher and it goes off in the Irishman’s face. Dicey is, momentarily, blinded and it allows Helms to attack him from behind and then he launches him through a glass window, leaving him in a heap on the floor.

Medics pour in as well as security. Alex Walker is on hand and he wants Helms back in his locker-room. Dicey has a few cuts and scrapes but wants to get up and fight. Walker dismisses the idea and says he wants Dicey checked out at the hospital. Dicey protests but it seems 6CWF is taking no chances given Dicey’s history of injuries and the upcoming Elimination Chamber match. It doesn’t look like Dicey will be taking part in tonight’s main event.

*Rex Adamson is interviewed by Tim Allen. Rex teases cashing in his “Key to the Kingdom” Championship for a spot in the Elimination Chamber but then shakes his head. He says “Uncle Max” is teaching him to be smart and that means picking the precise moment to strike. Rex believes he showed last week that he is already on the level of the “main event” but he will pick and choose when the time is right.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 21 Aug - 20:17

*Back at ringside now and The Saint is live in Miami. The crowd are going wild to see The Saint and he is promising to put on a show at Beachfront Brawl and finally put Clarke James in his place. The Saint knows that CJ wants to play games and he wants to rake up the past but all Saint is interested in is what he is going to do in two weeks time at Daytona Beach.

Saint brings up all his most feared rivals but he doesn’t believe he has ever wanted to hurt anyone as badly as he has wanted to hurt Clarke James. He’s prepared for all the games, all the manipulation but he knows that CJ is fully aware this isn’t going to plan. Look back at Acer and how much success James had invading his hope and turning his life upside down...the most that has happened to The Saint is a little roughing up in the backstage area but he gets worse treatment during foreplay.

The big screen comes on now and it seems The Saint has, perhaps spoken too soon. The “Following” are gathered on the lawn outside of a house that soon becomes very recognisable to The Saint. The camera follows inside and it seems Clarke James has decided to pay The Saint’s parents a visit. You can see The Saint’s anger boiling inside of him as Clarke James has tied both Saint’s mother and father to chairs in their front room. He is sitting across from them with his “Scarecrow” mask on and he turns to face The Saint. He accuses The Saint of “unbelievable arrogance” and cannot believe that he honestly thought Clarke James couldn’t expose weakness in him. James exposes weakness in everyone. He smells the fear on them even if they don’t recognise it themselves. CJ wants Saint to rest assured though that his parents are in good hands and no harm will come to them….he just wanted to pay them a visit and let them know they should cherish the next two weeks, because after that they probably won’t have a son any more.

RJ and JT are talking about how Clarke James is “rotten to the core”. James takes his mask off now and he tells Saint that now his own parents are victims of JJ Johnson’s “power trip” and he wonders just how many more will either willingly or unwillingly sacrifice themselves before Johnson mans up and faces his own fate.

Two hooded men suddenly roll into the ring on either side of The Saint and they lower their hoods to reveal they are wearing “Saint” masks (indicating he will be next to join The Following). Saint attacks them and is delivering a beatdown when a third attacker climbs into the ring. It seems Clarke James’ video was pre-recorded because he is here and he delivers a huge “Faithless” as The Saint turns around. Clarke wants his “railroad spike” now and is plotting to disfigure The Saint when Brandi Johnson and security teem out to prevent any more harm. CJ skulks free but has a sinister smile on his face. The commentators talk about how there is nothing James won’t do to get under his opponent’s skin and RJ believes he may be the “most dangerous superstar in the history of either company”.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 21 Aug - 20:18

*Tyler Roth and Scott Harris share a few words about teaming tonight and then heading into the Elimination Chamber. Both men are in agreement that their friendship remains but it’ll come down to “may the best man win” when they are the final two inside the Chamber. They shake hands and Roth wants them to send a message tonight.

Bout 4
Daniel Reilly vs Geoff Steel

*There is a commotion at ringside as Blue Dragon is shown throwing a member of security inside the ring and then he drops him with a sickening axe handle strike to the face. RJ is talking about how Blue Dragon was set to be in action here tonight but it is supposed to be Steel vs Reilly up next. Another security guard comes to the aid of his workmate but is dropped by a huge big boot to the mouth.

*BD is now outside the ring and he has two more of the deathtraps he brought last week. Thickened wooden boards with explosive devices wrapped inside barbed wire. BD calls for a mic now and he wants everyone to know that this isn’t even 10% of what you are going to see at Beachfront Brawl. The ring ropes will be replaced by barbed wire and he promises it will be “hell on earth” for both he and Geoff Steel.

*But Dragon wants a stern message to be sent here tonight. Not just to Geoff Steel but to 6CWF management and wherever JJ Johnson is hiding. Because BD is a full time member of the roster now and he wants them to see what they have signed themselves up for. So he drags the first security guard up and we get a “Blue Thunder Bomb” on the barbed wire, which subsequently explodes and leaves him shrieking in agony.

*BD points to the second board now and he heads for the other security guard but here comes Geoff Steel, which prompts deafening cheers from the audience. The commentators aren’t sure this is wise but Steel is all fired up and is carrying a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire. He gets to the ropes as BD makes a beeline for him so he throws the weapon at him as a distraction. BD blocks it but it allows Steel to get in the ring and he tackles him off of his feet, unloading with right hands on the deck.

*BD gets his feet up and kicks Steel away. He makes a grab for the steel chair now but Steel thunders into him again and unloads with right hands. They continue to brawl until Dragon slams a huge knee into the injured midriff of Steel. Steel is doubled up as Dragon delivers the “Deathnote” on the barbed wire steel chair. Steel is writhing in pain as BD stares at the explosive board now with an evil grin.

*It seems Dragon is contemplating “blowing up” Steel before Beachfront Brawl has even happened but yet another team of security are here and they are ensuring that no more fighting can take place. Dragon laughs at them and then grabs two around the throat. He stares at Steel, who is on his knees, and then double chokeslams the guards on the board as it explodes. Dragon is laughing and pointing at Steel whilst shouting “That’s your future”. The commentators believe the 6CWF Board may have made a big mistake by sanctioning such a bout and only bad things can come of it. Steel has blood coming from his back and ribs as he staggers against the ropes and Blue Dragon is forced out onto the walkway. The two men continue to glare at each other.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 21 Aug - 20:33

*After an advert, Edward Plague is in the ring. He came here to address “Gareth’s challenge”. Plague has seen the future, he knows where all the paths lead, and he knew that Gazzy would believe a fight between the two was the only answer when in reality it is yet “one more chapter to close” before he can accept enlightenment. Plague says he will “grant Gareth’s wish” at Beachfront Brawl but he will not come out to this ring and face him because that is “not the hand we have been dealt”. Instead Plague is extending the invitation for Gazzy to visit his congregation. Plague says “You know where I am, Gazzy, you always have known...you’ve visited before…..but this time you will be baptised in the Lake of Truth….and then, and only then, you will begin to see clearly”. Plague smiles now as the lights dim around him and the last image we see is the glow of his teeth before it fades to nothingness.

*RJ and JT are running down what has been confirmed for Beachfront Brawl:

Uryu Ishida (c) vs Anthony Grace vs Robin Reborn – 6CW Championship
Marty Helms vs Cerberus vs Dicey Reilly vs Scott Harris vs Tyler Roth vs ??? - 6WF Championship (Elimination Chamber)
Clarke James vs The Saint
Blue Dragon vs Geoff Steel – Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch
Liam Wood vs Vincent Costello
Edward Plague vs GazzyD
Cameron Faith vs Cassidy vs Cody Walker vs Daniel Reilly vs James McManus vs Jerome Dubois vs O’Callaghan – European Championship (Gauntlet)

*We get a hype video now on the history of Genesis from the day of Kenty, Sweetwater and Jackson Black running roughshod to when Lex Hart was revealed as their leader. We see all of their glory moments followed by their subsequent downfall at “Night of Glory IV” when Lex lost to Keith Leone inside Hell in a Cell. We move to the modern day and Kent blaming Lex for the downfall of Genesis and that he “never fit to lead”. Kent is promising to lead the “new era of Genesis” and believes destroying Lex Hart is the first step to making that happen, proving he is and always was the “true leader”.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

Bout 5
Eddy Kent vs Lex Hart

*We head back out to ringside after the huge hype video about the history of Genesis. The crowd are in fine voice and here comes Lex Hart to a standing ovation. JT and RJ are both hyping just what Genesis did for the industry and how they will be remembered forever. Lex is dressed in his usual pink and black attire and JT talks about how Lex has tried to distance himself from Genesis and everything they did in 6CW, despite the fact that it was the most successful period of his career.

*Eddy Kent enters to “Numb” and is dressed in the Genesis green and black. He welcomes the reaction of the crowd as JT believes that perhaps Kent has gone full circle in his career and coming back to his own “Genesis point”. Kent now believes himself the leading light and the man who led Genesis to all of its success throughout 2011-2012 (almost dismissive of the likes of Lex Hart, Jackson Black et al)

*Kent and Hart just stare one another down for almost two whole minutes as the crowd make a huge noise all around them. RJ believes this showdown could have headlined a pay per view and JT admits he is often disappointed when he thinks that the four core members of Genesis never faced off in a dream encounter (Lex Hart vs Eddy Kent vs Jackson Black vs Michael Sweetwater). RJ asks “Is Genesis rising again?”.

*Kent breaks the staredown with a slap to Lex’s face, which draws huge boos from the audience. Lex head snaps back and then he drops Kent with a huge right hand, sparking big cheers. Kent gets up and Hart unloads with vicious chops to the chest. He looks for an Irish whip and drops his head for a backdrop but Kent stops short and grabs Lex’s hair before slamming him, face-first, into the canvass. Kent screams at Lex to get back up and looks to quickly nail the “Mic Check” but Hart elbows his way free and then he clotheslines Kent over the top rope to the outside.

*Kent is throwing a fit on the outside and slamming his fists against the announce desks as Lex smirks at him. Hart pulls down the ropes and welcomes Kent back in as the commentators talk about how Lex is looking for confident than they have seen him in awhile. The referee backs Lex away from the ropes as Kent gets back in. They circle for a lockup and Kent looks for a sneaky kick to the gut but Hart catches his foot and then spins him around before dropping him with a big clothesline. Kent is back up and Lex whips him into the turnbuckle with power and then scoops him into a huge backbreaker as he staggers out. Lex then heads to the corner and he connects with the first two moonsaults from the bottom and middle ropes. He springs up for the BME off the top in order to complete the “Triple Bypass” but Kent throws his feet up. Lex scouts it, however, and catches Kent’s legs as he lands and drags him into the centre of the ring.

*Lex looks to twist Kent into the “sharpshooter” but Kent kicks out repeatedly until he connects with the jaw and staggers him away. Kent crawls up and runs forward but Hart ducks his attack and sprints off the ropes before returning with a jumping high knee (ala Triple H). Kent stumbles back up and Lex hits him with two German suplexes. He drags him up for the third and then spins Kent around into a sambo suplex for a two count.

*Lex is on the front foot now and looks for the “Flatline” (RKO) but Kent pushes him away. He looks for the “Genesis Kick” (Brogue) but Hart dodges and he rakes down the back of Kent before wowing the crowd with the “Hart Attack” (Jackhammer). Many of the fans think a three count is imminent but Kent kicks out. Lex signals for the “Canadian Destroyer” and runs the ropes but returns into a sickening heavy knee lift to the gut. Kent spits down on Lex and then drags him into a spiked DDT for a nearfall.

*Kent signals for the “Kentlock” now but Lex rushes him back into the corner. He crashes in with shoulder thrusts and then lifts Kent up high. He follows and nails knife edge chops and then attempts a superplex but Kent fights free and throws Lex off the top rope. Kent signals for the “Kent Bomb” but lands across the knees of Hart. Lex crawls back up and he nails a piledriver before following up with the “Triple Bypass” of moonsaults but once again Kent shows how tough he is by kicking out.

*The commentators are hyping up this “match of the ages” as the crowd go wild. Lex sags back on the ropes for a moment and then he drags Kent up. He looks for a suplex into a brainbuster but Kent floats over the back and nails an inverted backbreaker into a swinging neckbreaker. He backs into the ropes now and shouts “This is for you Sweety” before he lifts himself onto the second rope and leaps into a “Six feet deep” foot stomp to the chest. Hart staggers up and Kent nails the “Sleep with the fishes” fisherman’s suplex but Hart throws his arm off the mat in time.

*Kent repeatedly kicks and stomps at the head of Lex until he’s in a heap on the floor. He stands over him now and says “I am Genesis…..I am the reincarnation of everything you never could be….and I will succeed where you failed”. He backs up in the corner now and yells for Lex to rise. Hart is slow to his feet as Kent bursts out for the “Genesis Kick” but Lex dodges it and nails the “Flatline” (RKO) as every fan in Miami rises up. The referee slides to make the count but Kent reaches out and grabs the bottom rope before the three can be completed.

*Lex wipes sweat from his brow and backs in the corner. He lifts himself onto the second rope and leaps off for a “Panama sunrise” style destroyer but Kent blocks the flip and swipes Hart’s legs before putting him in the sharpshooter, which raises eyebrows all around. Hart is yelling in pain and is forced to endure nearly three minutes in the hold before he crawls and manages to reach the ropes for safety. Kent has arguments with the referee before stomping down on Hart’s back time and again. He drags him up for the “Mic Check” but Lex fights free again and shoves Kent into the referee. Lex draws cheers from the crowd now as he goes back to his roots and kicks Kent between the legs for nailing the “Canadian Destroyer”. The referee recovers but Kent kicks out.

*Lex is almost stunned by what is happening and he chooses to roll from the ring and retrieve his sledgehammer. He points it at Kent and says “I’m the only one who can end this”. He beckons Kent up but the referee tries to pull the hammer off him. The distraction allows Kent to get back up and he nails the “Mic Check” but Lex kicks out. Kent goes up high and dives into the “Kent Bomb” but Lex kicks out again. The commentators are talking about Lex’s amazing resiliency but it is clear he can barely move.

*Lex is on his knees, breathing heavily, as Kent stands in the corner. Kent’s eyes are laser focused as he waits for Hart to stand and then almost kicks his head off with the “Genesis Kick”. Lex is flat on the canvass, eyes closed, as Kent places a foot on the chest and the referee counts three.

*The crowd applaud the level of what they have just witnessed. Kent continues to celebrate and then he picks up the sledgehammer. The crowd boo now as Kent examines the weapon and then he waits for Lex to crawl up before he drills him in the side of the head, sending him flying from the ring. Kent raises the weapon now and welcomes the reception of the audience. He jabs himself in the chest as he talks to the camera and talks about “There’s levels to this and I’m above you all…..this is my show and now you’re all going to witness my ascension….”

*Medics are checking on Lex Hart as Kent climbs out onto the rampway now before making his way backstage, a dark smile playing on his features.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 21 Aug - 20:36

*Alex Walker is clapping as Eddy Kent walks into the back. Walker “always knew you were a leader” and claps Kent on the back. He also has a surprise “gift” for Kent and that is the unanimous decision from the board that Kent is the rightful sixth entrant into the Elimination Chamber for the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship. Kent looks smug as he shakes Walker’s hand. Kent says “Genesis is rising and I’m at the forefront now. No hiding in plain sight, I am leading this charge front row and centre”. Kent tells Walker and the watching world that he isn’t interested in “recruiting for recruitment sake” but “if the chance arises then only the best is good enough”. Kent says this is a whole new generation, a new era, and it will be “levels above” anything that has gone before. Kent is promising, no Kent is “guaranteeing” he leaves Beachfront Brawl as the new world champion.

*Rex Adamson is attacked backstage by Mike Hill. Rex tries to get back up but Hill punts his head against the wall and leaves him slumped. Hill crouches down next to Rex and he wanted to be first to tell him that he cashed in his European Championship for a shot at the “Key to the Kingdom” at Beachfront Brawl.

Hill tells Rex that it “makes me sick to think of you taking my record away” and promises he will end any hopes or dreams that Rex had of becoming the fastest ever world champion in history, in fact Hill doesn’t believe Rex will ever be a world champion after the beating his bestows. Hill looks around, smirking, and walks out of shot. Rex gets to his knees as Hill runs back in with a low flying dropkick that crunches Adamson’s head against the wall behind and leaves him unconscious.

*Uryu is preparing for the main event when Christy knocks on the door. Christy is concerned for Gazzy and his challenge against Edward Plague at Beachfront Brawl. She understands Gazzy won’t back down from Plague but last time Plague corrupted his mind and she is worried something similar may happen again. Uryu believes Gazzy is “stronger than ever” and can overcome anything Plague throws at him but Christy doesn’t look convinced.

Christy knows Uryu has a lot on his mind, she knows he is facing a huge challenge at Beachfront himself but she was hoping he would keep an eye on Gazzy out there tonight. Uryu doesn’t think Gazzy would be happy about that but promises “as his partner” that he will have his back. Uryu tries to convince Christy that all will be ok and he puts a hand on hers. She smiles as Gazzy walks through the door. The hands withdraw but it is clear Gazzy has seen them.

He asks if Uryu is ready and the 6CW Champion nods. Uryu leaves the room. Gazzy hugs Christy and says “everything will be ok”. He promises to deal with Plague and get their lives back on track. She hugs him now and they both have expressions of doubt on their faces. She kisses him and he leaves. Christy is left alone now.

We hear humming from behind her and she turns and almost screams as Edward Plague is sitting across from her. Plague says “So where shall we begin?” as the scene ends.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 21 Aug - 20:38

The scene opens in darkness, aside for a group of candles on what appears to be a cake. Illuminated by the glow of the cake is the hooded face of Engel, a smile etched on his face

Oh I do like a cake, everybody likes cake hehehe. You might say that there are some around here who like to have their cake and eat it. Celebrate with me, little birds. Your dawn chorus will soon be heard in every arena in every country around the world. Celebrate, for these are the days that I break free from these shackles.

Engel pulls back his hood. The flicker of the candle across his face illuminating his face paint, his greasy hair slicked back

The game is set, Everything is in motion just as I planned. There is much work to be done. You see, my gifts have arrived at our intended friends. I can almost hear the thoughts running through their minds I can guarantee they aren't taking me seriously. Let me make this clear. I warned you. This isn't the comedy act you thought you were getting, this is no farewell tour, I am here to make my mark, I am here to hurt anyone that gets in my way and no matter what you are thinking now, the reality. Oh the reality will be my masterpiece. You might be asking what you have to fear? Maybe the thought of this washed up old circus act is funny to you? Let me tell you what's funny. What's funny are the noises people make when they feel trauma. What's funny are the facial expressions of the suffering. When the ball is rolling, the only thing I'll be asking is...

Engel extinguishes the candles with a single blow. The face of Engel illuminated in the darkness.

Whose...laughing...now? hehehehehehehe

The scene ends.

SEE YOU AT BEACHFRONT BRAWL HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 21 Aug - 20:40

Main Event
Cerberus/Marty Helms vs Scott Harris/Tyler Roth vs GazzyD/Uryu Ishida vs Anthony Grace/Robin Reborn

*We head out to ringside for the main event and the commentators are talking about all the chaos that has ensued in the last couple of hours. It seems Dicey Reilly has been sent to the hospital as a precaution following a fight with Marty Helms and now Rex Adamson has been attacked backstage by Mike Hill. It seems that team is out of the running for the upcoming match so that just leaves us with four.

*All four teams make their entrances now and the commentators are hyping up the final bout before Beachfront Brawl. There is three referees, two on the outside, to try and maintain some kind of order but nobody is convinced that these eight superstars can be controlled with so much animosity flowing between them.

*Tyler Roth and Cerberus end up being the first two men to engage as everyone else leaves for the apron and it seems we have a traditional four corners match on our hands. Roth and Cerberus trade huge punches and then Cerberus staggers Roth off balance with a huge uppercut. He looks for a whip but Roth turns inside and drags him into a huge spinebuster. Grace slaps Roth on the back as the commentators remind us of Grace’s history with Cerberus. Cerberus sits up as Grace kicks him in the face before repeatedly stomping down on him. He raises his arms to his “supporters” and then beckons Cerberus up. He looks for the “Blockbuster” but Cerberus catches his leg and lifts him into a huge one handed slam. Cerberus grips Grace’s arms for the “Death Bell” but Reborn springboards in with a forearm smash to the head. JT and RJ are surprised to see “DeGeneration Hollywood” working together.

*Grace and Reborn stomp down on Cerberus and then push him into the corner. Grace drops to his knees for “poetry in motion” but Cerberus catches Reborn and throws him over the ropes. He turns around and is kicked in the gut by Grace. Grace looks for the “Thunderstruck” (Famea55er) but Cerberus catches him and counters with a powerbomb. He turns and slaps Helms’ chest for a tag. JT and RJ remind us of the history and that Cerberus chokeslammed Helms through a table hours earlier at the press conference.

*Helms climbs into the ring now and is weighing up his options. He drags Grace up and drills him with a lungblower (Infinity Edge). Reborn is up on the apron and is preparing to spring in but Helms spins and punches him off the apron. He turns toward Uryu/Gazzy and then Harris/Roth and beckons for them to bring it on before he spins again and he nails a flying “claymore” kick that wipes Cerberus off the apron.

*Helms yells “I’m (beeping) done” as he rolls from the ring now. He rips the steel steps off their hinges and smashes Cerberus in the head with them as the crowd boo. Tyler Roth drops down to front Helms out and the 6WF Champion launches the steps at his rival. Roth ducks the impact as Harris runs across the apron and sentons off into takedown on Helms, drawing cheers. Roth and Harris launch the 6WF Champion back into the ring now.

*The big screen comes on and we see Edward Plague sitting with Christy James. He holds up a pregnancy test and we hear him say “And who’s could this be?”. He laughs, sinisterly, as Gazzy turns and glares at Uryu. Uryu looks almost struck dumb as Gazzy quickly makes a beeline for backstage. The commentators are also dumbfounded as the whole scenario has taken a dramatic twist.

*Helms is on his knees now and he spits at the feet of Roth and Harris as he beckons them on. Harris turns to his friend and Roth offers him first shot as Harris bounces off the ropes and smashes into Helms with a shining wizard. He drags the world champion up and throws him to Roth, who subsequently scoops Helms into his arms and spins him into “Capital Punishment” (Swinging STO). The crowd cheer as Harris points to the top rope now and climbs high before leaping into a frogsplash on Helms. Roth draws his finger across his throat but Cerberus is up and he drags Roth from the ring.

*The commentators seem surprised because Helms took out Cerberus but JT reminds us that Cerberus wants Roth out of the picture too. Roth battles out of Cerberus’ grip and scoops him onto his shoulders but Cerberus drops off and shoves Roth, head first, into the ringpost. Roth sways and Cerberus chokeslams him across the base of the steel steps, leaving him in a ragged heap.

*In the ring, Scott Harris beckons Helms up and looks for the “Shot in the Dark” but Helms jumps out the side. He nails Harris with a huge forearm smash (Bullhammer elbow style) as he turns around, felling him to his knees. Helms points toward the ropes and signals for the “Blade of the Ruined King” when Uryu jumps over the top rope to confront him.

*The crowd are going wild now as the 6WF and 6CW Champions stare one another down. RJ reminds us that Helms has been “extremely outspoken” about Ishida in recent months but they have yet to come to blows. You can sense the anticipation in the air as Helms laughs at Uryu and beckons him on. Ishida shows no intimidation as he steps forward but suddenly Grace and Reborn grab a leg each and pull Uryu from the ring. Uryu shows his grit to fight them off and he pushes Grace away and drops him with a superkick. Reborn lands his own step-up enzeguiri and then slams Uryu’s head against the announce desks.

*Reborn climbs up on the table and pulls Uryu up but the world champion fights back and takes control. He pushes Reborn’s head down and looks ready to piledrive him on the Spanish table when Grace nails a low blow. Reborn leaps away as Uryu doubles up. Grace climbs onto the table now and delivers “Thunderstruck”. The table doesn’t break but that does even more damage to Ishida as his head is split open by one of the remaining monitors.

*RJ and JT believe Uryu’s days as champion may be at their end because he just cannot deal with the numbers game and the “dastardly tricks”. Grace pulls a bottle of champagne from a fan and takes a swig before pouring more of it over Uryu’s head. He is laughing as Reborn climbs up onto the ropes and then leaps off with a “shooting star press” that crushes Ishida through the table. Grace is laughing and takes another sip of champagne as Reborn kneels over the broken form of the 6CW Champion. Reborn looks up and Grace toasts him.

*Back in the ring and Marty Helms is up. He looks out at Cerberus, who merely glares back at him from the outside, and then he attempts “Blade of the Ruined King” but Cerberus trips him as he hits the ropes. Helms staggers around and looks furious but it allows Harris to wipe him out with a chopblock. The crowd are going wild now as Harris puts Helms in the “sharpshooter” in centre ring. Helms is screaming in pain as Cerberus merely watches on with a grin.

*The crowd are chanting “Needs more Harris” and it looks like Marty Helms is about to tap when Eddy Kent takes Harris’ head off with the “Genesis kick”. The crowd are going nuts as the commentators remind is about Kent/Harris. Kent looks down at Harris with a smirk and points to the green “G” on his trunks before beckoning a title around his waist and leaves the ring. Helms drops an arm on Harris’ chest and the referee counts the three.

*Helms is declared the winner alongside Cerberus. Cerberus looks ready to climb back inside now and confront Helms when “Born to fight” hits the airwaves and the crowd go wild. Dicey Reilly is carrying “Betsie” and looks all fired up. He storms past Eddy Kent on the walkway and climbs inside. Helms is just stumbling up, holding his back, when Dicey levels him with the barbed wire bat between the eyes.

*The cameras pan around the devastation as we see Reborn and Grace still standing over the broken form of Uryu. We see Tyler Roth sat on the outside, wincing in pain, whilst Dicey Reilly is in the ring standing over Marty Helms and Scott Harris. Eddy Kent is on the walkway and Cerberus is on the apron. Dicey, Kent and Cerberus all eye one another up as JT and RJ tells us we are all out of time.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - August 21st 2023 (Episode 12)

*Backstage and GazzyD storms into his changing room but Christy and Edward Plague are nowhere to be seen. There is just a note that says “I’m sorry”. Gazzy sags against the wall.

*Final moment of the night as Diablo walks into the 6CWF Boardroom. He is looking in a drawer at his desk when the door closes behind him. He looks up and sees two hooded members of “The Following” have shut the door. The head of the table then spins around and Clarke James has a vindictive smile on his face. He has a cup in his hand.

Diablo: What are you doing in here?

Clarke James: I was asked here…

*Diablo lets out a laugh, showing more bravery than he feels

Diablo: Nobody from the board would ask you, of all people, in here…..

Clarke James: You’re right…..they didn’t…

Diablo: Then why are you here?

Clarke James: I told you….I was asked to come here….

Diablo: By who?

Clarke James: A friend….a friend who wanted me to deliver a message…

Diablo: A message? To who?

Clarke James: To you…

*Diablo’s concern is quite apparent now as he looks for a way out but realises he doesn’t have one. James takes a sip from the cup in his hand and then places it on a saucer on the desk

Clarke James: Green tea, can’t beat it…

*Diablo “gulps” now

Diablo: And what did this “friend” ask you to deliver to me?

Clarke James: Oh this isn’t something I can tell you….I’ll have to show you….it’s very special you see…..all the way from Tibet…

*Clarke James smiles again and begins to rise out of the chair. Diablo adopts a fighting stance as the scene goes dark.
