Maybe it's because it's a bit pointless, excuse the pun, trying to guess a scoreline. A couple of results might be predictable say NZ beating Japan but actual scores so what.

Yup - weak modding and too many trolls have killed it. I hardly post anymore because of the unpleasant trolls. this post will be removed as well I bet. I told the admins 3 years ago this was happening the the trolls were allowed to continue

I don't post here a huge amount but can't say I've seen too much troll activity, is or has it been an issue? Can't be anything like the utter utter sh!te that gets posted on England rugby HYSs on BBC site. That gets beyond ridiculous and "modding" as such there is farcical and seemingly random with blatant trolls allowed to remain yet on topic posts often removed.

Week One Results
1. No7&1/2 - 85
2. Bsando - 83
3. Hazel Sapling - 80
4. RiscaGame - 74
5. Tigertattie - 73

7. Oakdene - 25
8. Demosthenes - 18
9. Collapse2005 - 16
10. Lowlandbrit - 14
As there was only two matches in week one it was a great week to nab that 50 point bonus for getting all the results correct. 6/10 of us predicted a Scotland loss which sadly left Oakdene, Demosthenes, Collapse2005 and Lowlandbrit missing out on those extra points despite some good scoreline predictions. That result could have quite easily have swung the other way and we'd be looking at a quite different table right now.
No7&1/2 was best of the round predicting both matches correctly and being the closest to getting the winning margin for NZ correct. No one was particularly good at predicting the Japanese points total with everyone expecting them to put less the twenty points on NZ.
Although I got the Scottish points spot on I was way off with the Wallabies margin which allowed No7&1/2, Hazel Sapling and RiscaGame and TigerTattie to claw some points back.
Week Two and the start of the International window will present a bigger challenge, especially for predicting all the results correctly and nabbing that bonus 50 points.
Remember, it's not too late to join in if you haven't made any predictions thus far. Best of luck to all in Round Two!

Saturday provided a full blown day of Autumn internationals. Although not every game provided a high level of entertainment the match of the day was France vs Australia. Foketi scored arguably the try of the autumn in the first quarter of the match with the Wallabies going the length of the park. Jock Campbell had a very good second cap and could be a potential star of the autumn for Australia. Ultimately though, they came up short after a wonder bit of skill from Penaud. France vs NZ could be one of the games of the Autumn if you ask me.
As for predictions, most were in the 80 point range and all were robbed of a 50 point bonus…
That is all apart from Collapse2005!
He nailed it. His score of 148 was by far the best of the round with poor old Risca on 57 thanks to posting late scores
Collapse2005 was the only person to predict an England loss to Argentina and he made a very close scoreline prediction for Scotland vs Fiji earning him 26 points. Only I was closer (27 points) and that was the closest anyone got to a perfect prediction for a single match. Several got one teams score spot on only to be well off for the mark for the oppositions.
Interestingly we all gave Wales a lot of respect for their fixture vs NZ. Perhaps that may have actually been a split between respect for Wales and doubt regarding the form of the Ab’s. This resulted in nearly no one guessing a high points tally for NZ with Risca predicting the highest NZ points total of 37, still 18 points off New Zealands final score of 55 points.
Most of us did not expect Italy to whollop Samoa like they did. Hazel Sapling predicted the highest Italian points total of 33 points which was 16 points short of the Italians actual score of 49.
England really screwed a lot of us over (apart from Risca of course) with only Oakdene getting more than 10 points for his prediction of 32-26 that earned him 13 points despite wrongly predicting an England win. Most expected a low scoring, slim England win. We all clearly underestimated the boots of Boffelli and Farrell.
Overall Leaderboard
1) No7&1/2 - 168
2) Bsando - 166
3) Collapse2005 and Hazel Sapling - 164
4) Tigertattie - 158
5) RiscaGame - 131
6) Oakdene - 110
7) LowlandBrit - 86
8) Profitus - 81
9) Mikey Dragon - 71
10) Demosthenes - 18
No7&1/2 still leads the way!
Round three and week two of the Autumn internationals will provide a chance to win an extra 50 points for naming the first try scorer in the Barbarians match. Be sure to add that alongside your score prediction.
Best of luck in Rd 3!

Round three and week two of the Autumn internationals will provide a chance to win an extra 50 points for naming the first try scorer in the Barbarians match. Be sure to add that alongside your score prediction.
Best of luck in Rd 3!

No worries! If we had another 20-30 people it may have felt a tad more laborious to implement. As it is I’m quite enjoying it.
