TNA 16/6 Spoilers

* New TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson opens the show with a celebration. Gunner comes out and wants a title shot for helping Anderson hurt Sting. Anderson brushes him off. Gunner sends Anderson through a table.

* Brother Devon beat Hernandez after The Pope and Mexican America got involved.

* Austin Aries beat Kid Kash and another indy star to win a contract and a match at Destination X.

* Kurt Angle comes out to announce he is trying to compete at the 2012 Olympics. Jeff Jarrett comes out and wants a rematch, he isn't done with Angle.

* Rosita and Sarita defeated Velvet Sky and Miss Tessmacher.

* Rob Van Dam beat Samoa Joe.

* Gunner defeated Mr. Anderson in a non-title match. Eric Bischoff made an appearance after the match and riled up Gunner.

Luke Gallows was also supposed to have been in a dark match

I dont want to see any more of Kurt Angle vs Jeff Jarrett!

So the Angle v Jarrett match headlines the PPV as the Final Battle, the climatic ending of a feud that has dragged on and off for what 2 years?
It got closure, the good guy finally won like most wrestling feuds end with.
Yet they still think there’s life in the dead horse and drag it out again.
Well done TNA on taking three steps back again.

(though I am looking forward to the Destination X PPV with the likes of Aries in!)

After beating Jarrett in their Final Battle and becoming the new No 1 contender at Slammiversary, i'd expect Angle to confront the Champion Ken Anderson on the next episode of Impact to begin their fued. But no, instead Angle and Jarrett rumbles on and Anderson is left with Gunner, GUNNER!

Also, coming off of huge wins at the PPV, i'd expect to see Crimson and Matt Morgan, but they're not even on the card?!

Seriously, TNA couldnt book a taxi.

I thought Angle won a number one contenders' match on Sunday?

In any other wrestling promotion in the history of the world that would mean he now feuds with Anderson for the title.

Instead Anderson feuds with Gunner (has there ever been a name that sounds less like a main eventer?) and we get an unnecessary extension to the Angle-Jarrett feud.

I suppose they are at least pushing new guys, albeit new guys who nobody on earth wants to see pushed. I wonder if that's deliberate...

Not forgetting stings rematch! Shambles of booking tna......again

What is so special about Gunner anyway?
I think someone is spending time under the desk of Bischoff

but agree with the overall article, the show seem's a bit all over the place, but defo am looking forward to this 12 man tournement

The Aries, Rave & Kash match was really good. Glad we will be seeing Aries again on TNA, he is quality.

What the hell was going on with Sting though?

I thought this was another good show. Impact's on a bit of a roll.

Aries, Rave and Kash was quite good - it was a bit of a circus. A bit too much.

The Knockouts match was utter tripe.

I thought the backstage sections with Hogan and Sting, and Eric Young and Matt Morgan were brilliant. I love those backstage segments when they get them right - I like the "undercover" style.

I really enjoyed it as well Demon.

Like you said The Knockouts match was awful and I really don't understand how that gets on the card ahead of the X Division stuff or with guys like Morgan etc.

Eric Young is a genius, he really is ridiculously underrated and underused. I really hope he gets a little more airtime now he is TV Champ.

What do we think of Gunner getting a push?

I'm not minding it.
Morgan should have been ahead of him but at least they are giving someone new a shot that isn't a WCW/ECW/WWE throwback.
Eric Young has been for many years the most underutilised wrestler in the business, his mannerisms remind me of a young Jericho and Edge at times.

I don't mind Gunner getting a push - it's better than some old guy in the main event.

Young never seems too silly because it's always funny. When compared to Perry Saturn and moppy, and Eugene which were always ridiculous, and hardly ever funny

Am bored of Angle and Jarrett to.

Dont mind Jarrett, but cant stand Angle.

I like them both and have no issue with the feud

For me it’s just dragged on far too long and at times has gone way past lines of what I think is comfortable viewing, the use of their real children at times has been shocking.

i think she is great she plays her part very well

I can't stand Karen either, I thought she was great in 08 but shes a complete spotlight stealer, Gunner for me has the potential to be one of the top guys in the business, I like his aggression, speed, power and his intensity, he just needs a few tweaks

When she first appeared I liked the character of Karen (and she was quite a milf tbh), since her return though it's been just constant in your face promos of her, it's like they've seen how good a heel magnet Vickie Guerrero is in WWE and tried to crank it up a few notches but failed badly.

I just nerver liked Angle.

Even when he was in wwe, with edge & christian.

I know he's popular among most wrestling fans.

He's a top wrestler.
