I was wondering why some of my replies have red lines by them? Thanks

Hi it's now green and red. Can someone advise me what this means?

Red means you've already gone over your word allowance for the month. There is a strict word allowance quota for new members. If you break it two months in a row you get a lifetime ban maybe for 24 hours.

The green light usually means that someone is infatuated by you and wants to give you their phone number in private.

Is that true or are you winding me up?

Red and green together means you’re going to get banged up in some Moroccan jail and you should probably pack your bags now.

I'm not sure I understand the joke here but perhaps it's another poster thinking I'm someone I'm not?

If you look at the side, you will see a "+" and "-" mark. If someone likes your post and clicks "+" you will get a Green line, red for "-", both if you get a like and a dislike.

More boring than Duty's suggestion sadly.

Green is for those who favour the Green Revolution of airships powered by methane provide by high altitude dairies, kept aloft in turn by political hot air balloons.
Red is for those who favour a return of Blairite Labourism to get the supplies of hot air up and running quicker.....

I think they only appear after you have posted 100 or more comments and been a member for two months or more.  So if you are not seeing the signs now, then maybe there is another condition as well that I don't know about.
