Wigan are believed to be close to signing Jake Bibby, Mitch Clark (why did we let him go), and are also linked with Chris Atkin and Jackson Hastings.

Leeds bring in former Saints stand off Kyle Eastmond on a 2 year deal. Strange signing IMHO, granted having not played RL for 10 years there will be a salary cap exemption but he has not played RL for 10 years, has been prone to injury and is presumably not attracting many RU offers after his release by Leicester Tigers who have by their own very high standards been very poor in the last year.

I do wish him and Leeds well and do hope to be wrong (he looked a great prospect when he left) however not many come back from RU with a great deal of success.

Probably only came back as it was the best offer he had from either code.

Not sure about the Gelling signing, but in my opinion Josh Simm could have a big future in the game

Looking at the highlights of the Cas game Leigh need more, they are some way off SL pace on this showing.

A good signing for them, but Leeds at the moment are a long way off challenging for honour's so more quality signings needed

Not suprised about Atkin, he showed flashes at Rovers,  and with Brown retiring and the rumours of Tolohea (spelling). Good player to build a side around.

Sounds like a potential move in a commercial role at Wigan with Adrian Lam leaving at the end of the season.

Has it been confirmed yet that Lam is leaving? I expect him to leave but haven't heard anything official

Adding him and Sezer (Who played together for Canberra for a few years), you have to feel that Luke Gale is moving on.

This one is a Bit if a suprise.

Perhaps less of a surprise, Luke Gale replaced Sneyd at Hull. To be honest I have always thought the writing was on the wall when he lost the captaincy. Not particularly surprised to see this is a one year deal.

On the Gale signing I agree Beast, even if that wasn't the final nail. Leeds signing Sezer and Austin certainly was.
