Not a surprising poll, but the British people have no choice in the matter. Charles it'll be - unless he kicks the bucket.

Most of the British people believe Diana was a saint (), so Charles is therefore the Devil.

She had the common touch and was a force for good.

I liked her.

Oh, she wasn't all bad and did much good. The press fawn over her even though she's been dead for 20 years. The British public's opinion of Charles is ridiculously coloured by their perceptions of Diana as portrayed by The Daily Fail et al, his marriage to Diana and how that went South. Nonsensical, but that's our modern world for you.
