Fantasy Football - The Draft

This year, the PL's fantasy football site has introduced a draft system option. A league can b setup for upto 16 teams; the participants that decide on a date for the draft and the fun commences.

Managers will then have a 15-man squad, with the players unique to their side rather than the usual system where each manager transfers in Lukaku and we all get the points for him, then marvelling at our captaincy choices and the odd guy who had Capoue from the first game for some reason.


I thought I'd anywhere was to be the place to get this going, it would be here. Who is interested?

Is there a way to pre set your draft?

I'm at Norwich vs Swindon in the cup

Go into the hub, And put players on your watchlist.

If you set an order it will pick by your order.

Should take an hour or so. Got 9 currently

Should take at least an hour with 60 seconds between picks. Can make it 30 seconds to speed it up but there'll be many panic picks. Hower, it will stop us sitting there for a whole minute each time if someone doesn't show

i will be watching super cup on my works computer but will try to flip between the two

If you set your watch list it'll take any picks from there in the order they're in

already done few of the big ones, but need to do defence etc

How many people actually made it on for the draft?

I did for most of it

missed the end and ended up with load of wba defenders

solid if not spectacular my team, ended up with a good defence but bit short in attack i reckon. anyone know how transactions work?

Whoever picked last has first dibs on waiver list. Then each week it is either whoever is bottom or whoever scored lowest (think its bottom).

Done two drafts and been 8th pick in first round both times. Strikers just go (or Murphy from Newcastle)

Says the league is closed to new entries? Can I not join based on who is left?

hows everyone doing? the league still not updated. i got 48 points

47 for me.

Alonso and Milner got 1 point between them, but Davies and Morata made up for it slightly

firminho and aguero were my main scorers, with clean sheets for valencia and pickford

A lot of teams with less than 30 points Think I'm first with 54 points

just checked this for the first time in a while, seems im doing alright

didnt really bother with this but it appears i won. its a nice idea but one you dont really go back to. won mainly due to having a very good defence. did well to beat a team with both kane and salah!!

also won the normal 606v2 league
