Modric was Real's best player last night. Kept the ball well and dribbled the ball out of dangerous positions to relieve pressure off the defence. He made 7 successful take-ons, 5 interceptions, just 5 misplaced passes. He was undeniably the MOTM. It doesn't matter if they lost the game 2-1, they still won the tie 4-2. Rio Ferdinand said last night after the game "For me, Isco and Modric were the two best players on the pitch today.

Got to agree. Modric was superb last night, even in defeat
