Gloucester will be looking to really turn the screw at set pieces and have out a gun front 5.

After that they will look to use big ball carriers before spreading the ball

To much grunt in the Worcester front 5 for me snd enough else where to get a good win.

Gloucester just about have the better pack but Irish the better backs.

Saracens 14 - 15 Leicester

Like the leicester pack and feel their backline is a little more dangerous.

Guys, is it possible to get a bit of feedback in relation to where people see strengths/weaknesses in my team as I am looking to use this as a gauge for how to go when the season comes round.

Agree with Steve, only Elsom would get into Leeds pack and enough on their backs to see them through.

London Irish 26-22 Gloucester

Like Matts front row but Irish dominate all other areas with back 3 close. Think Gloucester need pack domination for Lamb to thrive.

Quins 30-23 Wasps

Too serious teams on show here. Wasps would beat most teams on show today but Quins are
stronger in nearly every position. I like Steves pack and half back combo esp. Wasps centre partnership is impressive.

Saracens 21-24 Leicester

Pretty close battles but think Leicester have edge. Not seen So'olali play for a year or so and not sure of Crane at 6. See lineout issues for Sarries with no real quality there against Jack/Joubert. Packs pretty tight but Leicesters backs on a different planet and will see them through.

Will do predictions when on computer tonight.

Two very strong teams here. I think Wasps just edge this through the centres.

I like the overall look of the Sarries back line and the 2 props on show. Leicester nick this because of the internationals in the backs and Brown in the lineouts.

First up I will not use this tournament as any predictor during wc. Some teams like quins playing near full strength some like me playing wc side.

Agree with Pooly. Saints not enough platform to win


Quins 36-23 Wasps

Taking it serious these guys. Quins stronger and more physical. Arry may struggle back 3 wise during wc. Good first 15 but no depth. May need to trade a star for a few good squad players to build depth


Saracens 21-24 Leicester

Pretty close pack but Leicester backs take it. Van niek needs to play 8. Mercy will struggle

Wilson is no loosehead and Saints 6 and 7 have zero form, Worcester pack would dominate and they have a good 9/10 combo to take advantage.


Irish 25 Gloucester 20

Love the Gloucester front row, great scrummaging tighthead, powerful dynamic lossehead, great unit. Lamb has no form and needs to reconvince me of his talent or will be marked down. For Irish would have Bowden and Butch the other way round, but good strength and balance throughout give them the win.


Quins 35 Wasps 28

Quins almost at full strength and would dominate up front. Kelleher no form, but Cooper tearing it up and would relish playing behind this pack. For Wasps the back row lacks balance and not sure that Barnes is the best option at 12 outside Gopperth, backline lacks a bit of spark for me.
