Isn't this exactly why Connacht are a lot of Pro12 supporters' second-favourite team? They play with 100% joy and 0% fear, and it's totally infectious!

So the reigning pro12 champs win against a French team packed with semi retired ex internationals. How can that constitute a surprise? Not saying it's not great but playing at a dog track is not enough to give you the underdog tag forever

Yes, remember that this is New Connacht we're talking about. And apparently New Toulouse as well, unfortunately.

Well Leicester are the reining champs in the English football Premiership - and for a while in this season's Pro12 it looked like Connacht might be about to mimic Leicester's One-Hit-Wonder second term performances.
So ironically, Connacht, even after last season, wouldn't be near top-dog Province in Ireland, are only 8th in the league currently, and wouldn't be high on Joe Schmidt's list of team to take many of his International picks from.
