Two Fantasy Leaguers picked the BMW PGA Championship winner Chris Wood.  They also doubled up with third placed Danny Willett and ran away from the field.  Both also had Lee Westwood but that's where GolferMartin ran out of scoring picks.  Kwinigolfer added another scoring pick on the way to a comprehensive victory.  BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, and TheCleaver also had three scoring picks.  Davie, EmmDee57, I'm Never Wrong, LadyPutt, Owen10ozzy, Sand, and SirBenson had two scoring picks of varying quality.  AlciG, Beninho, Hibbz, LL Cool Nay, McLaren, Pedro, Raycastleunited, and SetupDetermines all had one scoring pick.

Rikard Karlberg shot 65 for the low round of the day and a second place finish.

Short and sweet again.  Masters winner Danny Willett headlines. Defending champion Byeong Hun An.  Former winners in the field: Matteo Manassero, Luke Donald, Simon Khan, Miguel Angel Jimenez, David Howell, and Scott Drummond.

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

That is where you will find me for most of the afternoon after spending the morning walking the course and then having a nice Guinness at lunchtime...

This was requested/determined a Category 2 tournament towards the end of last season due to its flagship status on the European Tour. Personally I don't think it should be valued as such an event due to poorer field quality in general but I'm also aware that Category 2 events are few and far between, only three WGC's and the Players.

Despite the field this will be worth 64 points and is still the official flagship event on the European tour. Got to be cat 2.

A small part of that grandstand is still free to public viewing LP, but otherwise it will cost you a tenner a seat. Only a few pence more than a pulled pork roll and a small bottle of water as it turns out!

Three players shot 65 to share the lead in the first round of the BMW PGA Championship. One of them was Joost Luiten who was picked by AlciG, Davie, LL Cool Nay, McLaren, Raycastleunited, and SetupDetermines. Danny Willett was another player to get off to a good start with a 66. Those who picked Luiten also had Willett whilst BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, GolferMartin, Hibbz, Kwinigolfer, Pedro, and Sand picked Willett too. TheCleaver picked Jaco Van Zyl who shot 67 to make the Top 5 Low Round scores.

Scoring seemed tough for the leaders but for others not so much. Tyrrell Hatton shot 66 for the low round of the day and earned points for Eyetoldyouso, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, and Owen10ozzy. While Eyetoldyouso, LadyPutt, and Owen10ozzy added another scoring pick Kwinigolfer added three more! His haul sent him skyrocketing to the top of the leaderboard. Beninho, EmmDee57, GolferMartin, and Sand also had two scoring picks. BlueCoverman, Davie, I'm Never Wrong, SirBenson, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver all had one scoring pick.
