2016 Pic Bases:

It's that time again when I work out what our wrestlers look like, this is to help me when it comes to making posters but will also help me tick the character signatures off the list...in the thread below comment on who your guy is meant to look like and possibly reserve a picbase. Use the thread to also update your picbase if you would like a change...if a wrestler has been on a 2016 poster already then a change will not be possible.

Rules:
* A superstar can only be the pic base for one 6CW roster member...if two people want the same person then the character who has been around the longest gets that pic base.
* The pic base MUST be a wrestler or UFC member past or present...no movie stars, musicians or other professions...with the amount of wrestlers there are in the world there will be at least one person who suits your person. (Exceptions can be made for non wrestling members of 6CW)
* Once you pick you base that will be your base for the rest of 2016 and possibly longer, this is to stop posters looking odd with different looking versions of 6CW roster members...*cough* Robin Reborn was white *cough* Laugh

* Each roster member will get a signature for their character as soon as possible. Characters without signatures or those that need updating will have a * in front of their name - please request an update in the thread below.
* As mentioned above you may change your picbase once as long as it hasn't appeared on a poster for 2016 already...if you upate you will get a new signature for them.

Not really a fan of pic bases. But if it's necessary, go with Cain Velasquez, obviously without the tattoo on his chest.

I've found a UFC fighter called Tiequan "The Wolf" Zhang

He's kind of Bald and certainly Chinese.

A picture of him without a tattoo doesn't seem to exist and I'm not going through the effort of cloning it off sorry...I'll be honest, when I picture Crime Lord I picture current short hair Triple H.

Which is exactly why I don't like picture bases, because that's not what I think he looks like at all. I'd rather just have no pic base, I'm not really that bothered if there's a picture of a random wrestler or fighter on the posters that's supposed to represent Crime Lord. May as well just not have him on the posters haha.

I completely agree with Crimey to be fair, I don't think of Marshall as being psychically based on anyone out there, never have done, so I'm of the same opinion, id rather have nothing than being forced down a route that doesn't fit in with something you've created and have controlled for several years

Pic bases are optional - A character is an individual's creation; to show them as somebody else doesn't fit - Square pegs and round holes

I get that picking a picture base isn't the easiest sometimes but without them posters can't really be made.

The issue with that is that the N.O.G poster is going to have a common theme so having 6/7 posters with people on and then a random one is going to look out of place.

In all seriousness, I do posters for free because I think it adds something to the shows but there is no way I'm putting that level of effort in to it when as I say it's for free and in my own spare time.

I'm not saying just pick someone - I'm saying maybe move away from the standard poster template involving people and use more imagery ?

I agree posters are a nice addition to PPVs but they are a nice to have rather than a necessity - I would be happy to have posters that represent the PPV rather than the type used in the past - Just an idea to consider??

I reread what you said and changed my reply because i realised what you meant...I've done it in the past if you look at the recent Gateway To Glory poster of the Statue Of Liberty with the Key I just assumed that people liked their guys appearing on posters.

Doesn't have to be a good cover up to be honest, with effects and stuff on it and the fact its for free and for us lot then it won't matter come the poster. Equally, any with Crime Lord you could do it without the torso.

NOG is the only one I would think you will need wrestlers on each time, cos of how it is at NOG. So yeah, the theme is gonna always be there as a fallback option on posters,

Like I said, I'm not that bothered if "Crime Lord" is on the poster or not, if I'm picking a pic base for him which I think doesn't even look like how I imagine him, having that person on the poster doesn't really mean anything. I appreciate you doing them and I think they're a cool addition, but I'm not too fussed whose on them.

Whilst I defend Crimey's right to not choose one if he doesn't want one, I just looked at pictures of those suggestions viper and Randy Couture is pretty much exactly how I have always imagined Crime Lord. I knew the name but not seen him before.

Crime Lord has always been a bit like Jason Statham in my head

In some ways though I guess that is the beauty of e-fedding, like reading a good novel, I bet a character like Crime Lord looks different in every single person's imagination

I've always pictured a Statham type guy but with more of a HHH physique so Couture could be the one.

In an ideal world I'd have the skill/time to draw roster members like you guys had in 6WF but I honestly don't...if anyone feels that strongly against it then they don't have to have a pic base, it just kind of leaves a gap when it comes to multi man poster or posters for N.O.G where I want everyone to feature.
