It was a good draft, interesting to see a few trades too. I'll give everyone a 5 man taxi squad, to which your rookie picks will be added.

I'll post up later this week the blind bid budgets, going to give Olly some extra budget as agreed, then you can send me your blind bids as and when ready

For future years would it not be better to have a sliding scale from last to first on the budgets

Everyone has had taxi squads of 5 added, I had to move some of your bench players on to the taxi squad as annoyingly I can't add rookies directly to the taxi squad!

Please check and make sure I've not put anyone on the wrong team.

I had to change the max WR spots to 12 as someone was going over, but other than that nothing else has changed.

Blind bid budgets are as follows, in line with finishing positions from last year

1. Gronk's Party Bus - $200 + $50
2. Mikeygnfl - $180
3. Cut Throat Lane Cowboys - $170
4. Wadey's Warriors - $160
5. Chew Magna Cha Cha's - $150
6. Inceptasaurus Rex - $140
7. Le'Veon Island - $130
8. Fumble in the Jungle - $120
9. spider2ybanana - $110
10. Dezpacitos - $100

Please send me your bids, you can bid for as many players from the current free agent pool as you want with the above budget. I'll send my bids to whoever sends me theirs first, please label the message so I know not to open it first!

Will look to have results announced within a week or so

Basic rules
Highest bid wins, only one round of bidding unless ..
If two managers are tied for the highest bid, I'll PM both asking if they want to rebid based on whatever budget they have left after the first round of bids
Once you've bidded, you're committed and can't cancel a bid from the first round to rebid in the 2nd

So is there one round or more? i.e. if I crash and burn with who I bid for as I have a lower budget than many, am I straight into a free for all, or will there be a chance to use whatever funds I have left on another blind bid round?

I rewrote that 3 times thinking it wasn't making sense Laugh

1 round of bidding, unless two managers have made the exact same bid for a player. In that scenario, they'll be asked how much they want to rebid based on their remaining budget after all their 1st round bids have been allocated

If you bid all your budget on two players and lose them both, you get nothing until free agency opens

Hopefully that makes sense?

Hope you've all enjoyed tinkering with your squads for the past week or so. On Monday, I'm going to clear all taxi squads and any players on them will be removed from your squad

If there is space in your active squad, I'll move them there first, but otherwise you'll see all taxi squad players deleted, so get your squads finalised asap please

I did have a rather awesome week this week... even some of my bench players were immense (Gallup / Brown / Engram) but I also have terrible RB depth and volatile starters who just happened to all hit this week

0.45 lead over mikey going into MNF. Was a lot more than that before Julio Jones scored 10 points in the last 30 seconds and Cooper Kupp scored a late garbage time TD

Latavius Murray and the Saints kicker against my Michael Thomas +0.5 points .. its going to be close. If I come through, I'll be in all three v2 finals this year, facing crazy_dave in two of them!

Yeah, having knocked me out in the Semi Final of the other one... I actually got closer in that one than I thought I would when I stopped checking the fantasy scores mid way through the afternoon games!

I was a little worried this week, particularly when Derick Henry was a late scratch, adding to my loss of Dalvin Cook. However Miles Sanders and Kenyan Drake came through when I needed them most... plus it helps to have Patrick Mahomes...
