As things have gone a tad quiet........

I thought I would ask everyone their favourite boxing moment.......

Not fight or round or anything like that.......

Just something that has happened in the boxing world that you could watch again and again.......

(and no.....I am not TRUSS......!!)

My nomination is the Holmes/ Berbick street brawl. Love that drop kick!

In the ring - Hopkins doing push-ups halfway through the fight with Pascal...even Ian John Lewis couldn't help smiling.

Out of the ring - Watching a documentary on Eubank/Watson and seeing a clip of Watson walking up to Eubank, opening his arms and giving him a big hug. Still moves me to tears.

Watching Calzaghe's dissection of Jeff Lacy after all the build up.

Lewis' destruction of Golota, who was considered one of the most dangerous heavies at the time (Lewis obviously had the benefit of realising that he wasn't all that...).

Big George flattening Moorer.

Terrible outcome, but Benn vs McClellan was very possibly the most enthralling fight I've seen.

And of course watching Corrie Sanders almost decapitating Wlad who really was being touted as "The Next Big Thing" in the heavy division. Took him a few more years to establish himself...

Hagler knocking out Hearns, took Hearns big right hand and then showed how marvellous he really was.

Hagler ko'ing Hearns is my all time favourite boxing moment. In more recent years I watched the Pacquiao v Hatton in a house filled with Filipino's. The place went wild when Pacquiao ko'd Hatton. I drove home that night buzzing.

Who can forget Fan Man?

The night Bernard Dunne won the title against Cabellero, he was given no chance, and after being floored twice everyone felt it was another Kiko Martinez flashback, but he knuckled down and turned the fight over the course of the night, round by round before eventually stopping the unbeaten champion to win the title in front of a raucos home crowd.

Ireland had just complete the Grand Slam in the 6 Nations too. It was wonderful time to be alive.

I also always enjoy the 2003 scrap between Michael Gomex and Alex Arthur, when Gomez upset the odds!

Wonderful times.

When Groves was awarded the win over DeGale, man I hated DeGale in the build up to (and including) that fight, so to see Groves win when even I thought DeGale had just done enough was sweet.
