I watched the first episode, it isn't as appealing to me as the other series as I grew up in the 90's and can remember how sh1t it was

I enjoyed it, am a massive Shane Meadows fan and this series is the era of my youth, so holds a lot of happy memories for me. Was glad to see the first episode had some humour in it, as I found the last installment unrelentingly grim. I appreciate they always have a dark side, but the brilliance of Meadows has always been to mix in homour with that, which I felt was lacking last time round.

I felt that a bit too Rowley. Like there is as you say a dark side to an ending of an episode and some humour lightens it ever so slightly. It was just a bit random that it was a documentary phone call with the parents and a punch up between goths and potheads.

I hope it picks up a bit in the next episode.
