One Direction

This may damage my reputation on here ( ) but I have to admit, I kind of like 1D. My kids like them, so I have played their albums in the car for a year or so, one and off. Whilst they're not going change the face of music, or win many ivor novello awards, some of their stuff is quite catchy, and easy to listen to.

It's easy to mock the fab 5, but fair play to them for making something out of their lives. We're even going to Cardiff soon, to watch them in concert. 50,000 screaming kids may alter my view, but it should be good.

Probably trying to run away from the haircut/highlights.

I feel the "highlightsgate" is my equivalent of Toppy's weight jibes... Even though I havent had visible highlights for about three months now... I'll never live it down

Fair enough... Been too lazy to get new highlights... Stylist says I should wait on it a while, so my hair is fully recovered. He knows best.

I like a good few of their singles. I'm past the age of hipster care but not old enough to be a miserable b*stard yet.
