Bath are putting out Banahan and Burgess this weekend against the Ospreys. I reckon this is the biggest centre pairing in the history of the game

Anyone think of one bigger that have actually taken to the field together ?

Those 2 centres are the same size as your average second row combination.

I think i remember a Tongan pairing with both centres over/close to 120kg.

Two centres. One who can't pass and one who can only pass off his good hand and they don't inspire ball in hand. Who'd have though it.

Didn't have another option with injuries and England duty

Watching the highlights last night they actually seemed to do OK. I don't think it was their fault Bath lost .

Fiji V Wales in the AIs were huge. They lost 13 - 17 to Wales and fielded a massive set of backs. A 19/20 stone centre paired with Goneva of Leicester who must be pretty big. I think the average for all the backs was 17 st and was described as the heaviest in rugby history.
