I think we'll have a good go at them , Also have a decent stab at the big sides.

I applaud the optimism but I think it's misplaced.

in all honesty i dont think your wrong Trailape...i dont ecpect to get anything from them...but i want to see a performance that makes people think...wow they were aggressive, got stuck in and really had a go.

I can see it being a 7 > game.

We tend to start either brilliantly or a bit lacklustre.

The scrums will be tight, and the midfield will be physical.

Cant see it being to flashy.

Your last visit to WR saw a truly appalling performance. I hope, and expect, more from both sides this weekend.

Yeah the last one v Edinburgh....was very rusty but even then made some of his trademark runs.

Seems a stint in Japan may have been kind to him and whilst past his best days could be a very potent weapon for us if managed properly

LH is a major issue, decent team though.

As said on the other thread Tigers need to make the most of the scrums and tight before Brookes comes on.

 and send Bai and Manu at Godman and Socino to wear them down as you don't really have a 10/12 sub.

Socino will cover 10.

Hopefully we can get at Balmain with two good TH's, Rodgers is poor though. How can we start the season so weak at LH??

Balmain is at TH therefore will be against your LH.

 Mulipola will be aginst your TH's.

 was saying if we attack your 10/12 channel with Bai and Manu (a combined weight of like 32./34 stone, then it should wear you down.

Anyway i knew McGuigan would start. Great to see him and Hammersley stepping up and they look great. Big step up for Hammersley but i think he can do it.

Socino can hopefully pull the strings but he's up against a big backline for the Tigers.

Hey folks, I'm in Newcastle this weekend for the Great North Run. Can anyone recommend a good pub that would show rugby on Saturday? Glasgow v Leinster is on Sky Sports 1, and I'm damned if I'm going to miss the first game of the season!

Depends if the football team is playing. If it is you will struggle in the city centre.

If its not pretty much any pub will put the game on if you ask nicely.
