Ok guys the Eurovision semi-finals are under way and some cracking songs (good and bad) have been performed.

Who does everyone think will win?

Put a cheeky bet on Ukraine as Europe may sympathise with them.

Favourite song is the Netherlands so far, reminds me of Lady Anabellum.

Ireland and the UK will not win for a long time with the current voting system. Even if the songs/singers are regarded as the best by their peers. Shame

This is a competition for Europeans, not the United Kingdom.

We're not part of that European landmass, any more than we are with Africa.

Let the Europeans compete in this contest, and we Brits shall play cricket.

I don't think it is, I think that is a myth. Yes some countries vote a certain way but it doesn't dictate the winner. In the last 10 years Germany, Greece, Finland, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Austria and Norway have won. If it was who had the most friends then the same countries would win but they don't and it usually is the best act on the night that wins.
