I wouldn't mind Klopp replacing Moyes, if he does leave.

The FA already said they wouldn't take action as long as they didn't play a host of youth players outside of the 25 man squad.

Don't worry, have faith. Chelsea have been dire, I am fully confident we will score.
I'd be more confident if we had at least 1 chance in the first half.

Not really pathetic when you're the one getting shifted to the left in favour of a pair who couldn't carry your jockstrap, a more than justified decision to make.

Too be fair, there isn't much that separates those three and opinion will differ depending on whose fans you ask.

Big goal for Chelsea. They will really make it difficult for Liverpool in the second half.
Liverpool need to bring Sturridge on.

Yes proper defending, men behind the ball, wingers who get back to defend but can break at pace. Kalas has looked good so far as well

Hampo, any chance of taking of the scouse specs?

They're defending well don't get me wrong, however when West Ham did this they played poor football yet now Jose is some sort of tactical genius? No chance.

Looking forward to the second half as a neutral. Fascinating!

PL could hang on this 45.

Reputations, stats, history, bragging rights, 25 years without a top League title. Brilliant

I'm not mate, but to be time wasting from the kick off is pathetic. The ref has warned them every time and now needs to get sterner as they're obviously not paying attention to the warnings.

I don't really agree with giving yellow cards for time wasting, the time should be added on at the end but I do think football should introduce the same system they use in Rugby, any break in the play and the clock stops.

Relative to other countries we have so few young prospects that the ones we do have are thrust straight into the media spotlight, it's happening to Barkley as well, looked superb for most of the season then starts getting some plaudits and his performance levels drop right off.

For instance if Rooney wasn't English, he a) wouldn't have cost so much and b) would have been able to progress at a steady rate and would have become one of the best players in the world.

Not really pathetic when you're the one getting shifted to the left in favour of a pair who couldn't carry your jockstrap, a more than justified decision to make.

Too be fair, there isn't much that separates those three and opinion will differ depending on whose fans you ask.
There was a massive gulf in class between Scholes and the other two, he could dictate a game in a way Gerrard and Lampard could only dream about, only in England do the others get mentioned in the same breath as him.

Only United fans see this "massive gulf in class". Laugh
To everyone else, all three were very good players who are highly rated around the world. Lampard is the least talented of the three but still a top player. Its debatable between Scholes and Gerrard.
England's overall performances with Scholes at CM were no better than they were with him at LM.

He also did a tevez at United and refused to play once

Petty person, great footballer

Yeah - I mean they weren't even like for like.

Not long left, for the Pool not to make it yet another year in the wilderness.

Thought it was a wee bit presumtuous of some to think that Liverpool had the title in the bag.

Nobody suggested that Skyeman, and this game also doesn't end the title run in. Palace play like this then they won't keep it up for 90 minutes, and Newcastle are on a horrific run of form.

It's just not happening today. Credit where it's due, Chelsea did what they had to do.

Now lets see what Palace can do.

A few have Hampo, several pages back, saying the wait is over.

Could of course still do it. A late goal and faves again.

I'm resigned to think the dream is over.
Give me a day or 2 and i can reflect on that it's been a great season for us and CL football next season.
