Munster v Toulouse 1/4 Final HC

So with about an hour to go and no thread, I thought I would make one. Come on Munster

Just read from whocares that there have been some last minute changes to the Toulouse line up with McAlister now starting and Nyanga not making the bench...

Well I think we all know last week's game between Munster and Leinster was a bit of a phoney war. It's a pity they seem to have gone that way in recent years but I suppose, with both sides in HEC quarter-finals, it is inevitable that full-blood intensity would be held off until this week.

Doff the respectful hats to Toulouse of course, Munster - manners are always required.  And then go hunt them down with brutal intent, kill them off and slaughter them - sportingly of course.

Really looking forward to this Fly, going to be a very tough game but I think that Munster may have a little too much for Toulouse at home... Well I hope

What was the point of playing POM if he wasn't even fit, seriously. Do they want to cripple him for future games as well?

Munster will need a bigger lead than 10 i feel with the power on Toulouses bench.

Munster loosing a bit of direction here, cant afford this against Toulouse...

POM looked to twinge his arm or shoulder in one of the first plays of the game. It's a mark of the man that he played on for 20 mins

Munster playing against the wind so should be easier for them in the 2nd half.

O'Connell is the best second row in world rugby for me. Legend.

Munster have structure and passion, Toulouse have neither- but raw talent and size are keeping them in it

Early dominance from Munster. Toulouse getting back into it before the half ends. Too many mistakes / penalties from Munster

Munster have been pretty dominant - they look more dangerous with the ball and comfortable in defence but penalties are keeping Toulouse in the game. Could go either way but I can see Munster winning comfortably enough provided they score next.

Ireland's maul has translated far better into Munster's game than Leinster's. Shows the importance of POC

These Toulouse subs and the loss of POM may make a huge difference in the 2nd half. Not overly confident, especially how Munster lost direction after the 25th minute. Still very much anyones game.

Munster let them back into the game a bit. You need to get the points on the board when you are dominating because Toulouse will come back into it and Munster should have scored another try

Toulouse will be delighted with that scoreline - Munster looking good but should have more points on the board. Murray will get a shellacking if they lose for butchering that try.

Scrums are a farce and have ruined what looked to be a really good game.

As a neutral, I'd be more likely to put money on Munster now than before the game. Toulouse arriving at an attacking lineout on Munster's 22 , without a clue what they were planning to do says a lot.

As anyone noticed Steenkamp's scrummaging? he is perpendicular to the scrum every time.

was the munster 10 pinged for that knock on? very close to a yellow card for me.
