He told Khan he wanted more money, so Khan despite being the bigger draw as offered Timmy at 50/50 split including the British PPV money.

Bradley will make maybe close to 2million.

If he doesn't take Khan up on this offer he is clearly avoiding Khan.


Very impressed how Khan has gone about business, he wants to fight the best and will try and get the big fights on and make compromises to make it happen.

People said Khan was avoiding a big puncher so he took on the biggest, and now he going to take on the best and unify the division.


So it is Bradley's move next.

What boxers say and what their management team say often differ. I'm sure Bradley wants to fight Khan. Their management teams are often the problem in getting fights on. It doesn't mean Bradley is personally ducking.

Bradley still makes more by fighting a contender now for his guaranteed £1.2 million and then fighting Khan later in the year. Unless he's offered £3 million he won't fight Khan until late 2011 or early 2012 and that is perfectly understandable.

i wouldnt trust anything that comes out of team khans mouth, nothings every simple in boxing negoations these days and im sure some of the finer details will be missed out. like most big boxing match's these days i wont believe either of these two want to fight each other untill they step into the ring.

he aint guna fight khan till he makes 1.2 million beating a chump- it makes sense to most people. would you turn down an easy 1.2 mill knowing that as long as you dont lose the title your guarenteed the khan money afterwards anyways.

d4 dont forget, bradley isn't guarenteed a win, and there would be no pacquio shot if he lost. there arent a lot of oppertunitys for retired boxers, so if bradley can take a low risk fighter for 1.2 mil, then fight khan for 1.3 or whatever that surely is what most people would do. consider if he fought khan for 1.3 mil, then lost- where would all the big fights be for bradley then? he isn't the most popular/exciting boxer ever even though he's 2 belt champion, so i can see his popularity plummeting if he was to lose. he should make the money whilst he can.

People keep on saying low risk but the fight has to be approved by HBO, and like I said they are not Sky.

fair point, and after bradley takes the sensible option and gets his guarenteed payday, and khan (hopefully) deals with his opponent in the meantime bradley still gives an excuse not to fight khan then i will be the first to admit that you said from the beginning that bradley was ducking. however i honestly feel that he is just been sensible and getting the payday first. time will tell.

I think he's a tool as well mate. It's just his style I like, I was a big Pernell Whittaker fan when I was younger and FMJ is the closest to his style around.

Khan is a worry he is starting to beleive his own hype. His attitude with the McCloskey fight was shameful.
