Yeah, why the hell not.
winner gets a firm handshake. aggregate closest to their total guess?

EG:

AKA predicts

Kerry win by 5
actual score Tipp win by 14

Cork lose by 1
actual score cork win by 93

= total of minus 112.

That kinda thing....just for example?

I just commented on that over on the 606 board. I don't think it will be easy.

Over on the PROC site there are people saying this is the last chance saloon for Kerry for a generation.....Wishful thinking perhaps.

Rebel - Ye Olde 606 is supposed to be closing on the 26th May after the last soccer game has been played. You can always do it on both in between just to make sure thumbsup

it would be much easier to do it over here, but those old stick in the muds won't make the jump. I'll see how it goes.

That is good advice and good modding skillz/

That's not a bad idea red top. Why don't we have a predictions competition each championship week before live scores and we could keep a league table to see which of us has made the best predictions- whoever of us is top after the season ends will be crowned all Gaelic 606v2 champs and will get one of RB's firm handshakes.

GW's predictions-
Connacht-
Sligo by 4

Munster-
Kerry by 8
Cork by 10

Leinster-
Laois by 5
Kildare by 7

Ulster-
Derry by 6

Leinster Hurling-
Carlow by 2

BTW RB, I'm looking to watch a match this week and doire are my best bet, are BBC occupied territories showing the game?

No, it is one of the games that the BBC lost out on. It isn't on TV at all till the sunday game. Their offering is the two Leinster games live.

BBC non-irond shirt showing the game now, good. Hopefully it'll be on the red button for the diaspora.

Yaaaas. I predicted the right winning margin for kildare, they beat wickla by 7. Congrats on your 100th post RB.

I was watching TSG on Sunday evening and expected to firstly see the Tomás O Sé incident and then some analysis of it. But I saw neither. We are now gone from a position where the panel are bashing every Kerry move to one where they are so spineless as to not comment on any controversial incident at all.

I am going to reserve judgement until I see what this new show on tonight is all about.

Hopefully that will be the show where they deal with all that kind of stuff.

Darragh has his say on it. Hard to disagree:

Tomás is taking his oil, but it is a stupid rule.

I don't have a problem with the rule, if your stupid enough to do what he did fully aware of the rule then you deserve what you get. You would think a player of his experience would have a bit more sense but Kerry imo have a problem with getting suspension's and most of them have been fully deserved.

i watched the committee room last night. It is just the same as any radio show on newstalk or rte on the subject. They mention O'Se seeing red. they didn't mention that mad man from clare getting a red and then sticking the nut on john miskella.

It is Geraghty central at the minute.

Its really a strange move, totally unexpected. Atm I'm more inclined to agree with Flynn, although time will tell. If David Weir can play soccerball at 40 then why not Geraghty at 38 in gaelic. It's one of those things, it'll either be a stroke of genius and banty will be applauded for it, or it will be a sign of desparation and we'll be up sh1t creek.

He can only do so much. it looks to me like you are already in a fairly tight spot. It is very late in the day to be making additions of that nature to the panel. It can only end badly.

Although did'nt Geraghty go to Arsenal for a trial many years ago and people at the club said he was fitter than most of the players they had on their books. Although I suppose old injuries and the like tend to slow you down a bit as well.

He did yeah. I'd say he's still fit as a flea. His club is intermediate though, so to be championship 'sharp' is something else. Brosnan has been back with your lads for a while now. He looks good but he's not as old, and he has been eased in with a fairly settled and successful side.

Geraghty is a divisive figure, even amongst the panel we are led to believe. Bringing him in to an embattled panel is desperation stakes.

Yeah Brosnan probably has not been in as many scrapes as Geraghty and would have the personality to slot in effortlessly. He was always a good player but was not consistent enough. Hopefully he can excel in his new role. I did'nt think Meath should have gone outside the county for a manager in the first place. Issues such as these usually gets people's back up more when it is an outsider making the decisions.
